What is the minimum salary a b. Tech chemical engineer can get in companny's

The salary will vary from organisation to organisation. It is also depend on which institute you pursued the course. If you have pursued the course from reputed institutes like IIT then the salary can be as high as 10 lakhs. If you not pursued the course from reputed institutes then you can expect it to be around 3 lakhs. It is important that you have a sound conceptual knowledge.

there is not a fixed salary for chemical engineer of for any engineer.
but i must tell you that chemical engineers are getting very good salaries all over the country.
a chemical engineer can get a minimum salary of rs 10,000 very easily.
there are a lot of companies like petrochemical industries, refineries, oilfields, pharmaceutical industries etc where he can apply for the job and can get good salary

minimum salary depends on many factors-
1) college in which u are studying (5 iits > bits pilani > nits > other colleges)
2) ur performance and projects u undertook during course of four years
3) how well u do in ur interview

in iocl,hpcl,gail,bpcl u get a starting salary of 8 lpa.in 8 months training u get 35000 rs den u start getting the salary said i.e 8lpa.......in chemical engineeing u get a very high salary.......but for it u hv to be conceptually grt.for iocl u need to clear gate n get arank within 100.
