Re: Can I join Indian Army after 10th? Dear friend, You can not join Indian Army after 10th standard examination. You will have to complete 12th standard examination. Then you will be eligible for NDA Here are the details criteria for NDA examination. NDA CRITERIA : 1.Academic qualification : The candidate should complete 12th standard examination 2.Age limitation : The age of the candidate must be within 16.5 to 19 years. 3.Nationality : The candidate must be an Indian 4.Eyesight criteria : Eyesight of the candidate must be 6/6. 5.Height criteria : The height of the candidate should be minimum 165 cm. Re: Can I join Indian Army after 10th? Eligibility Criteria : Age limits : 16 1/2 - 19 Yrs.(i.e Not before 1st July 1992 & Not born Earlier to 1st January 1995). The candidate should have completed their 12th from a Recognized Board Or Equivalent Qualification. The candidate should have a minimum 70% Marks In PCM. |

The minimum educational qualification required is to 10+2 pass candidates with physics , chemistry , maths with a minimum of 55-60% marks. Age limitation is between 16.5 - 19 years with no relaxation. Only unmarried male candidates can apply for it. Minimum height should be 157.5 cm with 5 cm chest expansion. But after completion of 10th you will not be eligible to join in Indian Army in officer post.. For that you have to complete your 12th first.. After completion of 12th you will be able to appear in NDA exam.. Through NDA exam you can join in Army wing in officer post.. So, first try to complete your 12th with a good percentage of marks.. Hi, it is good to know that you are interested in indian army but still after 10th standard you are not eligible for it.so in order to join indian army follow the eligibility criteria as mentioned below: Eligibility to join indian army:- • first and foremost requirement to join indian army is that one should be an indian citizen. • one should be at least 18 years and above to serve in any post of indian army. • the education qualification to join any indian army commission should be minimum of 10+2 which later includes graduation, post graduation and more. 10+2 (through nda):- one has to take an entry level exam conducted by union public service commission (upsc) to join nda (national defence academy). This exam is conducted twice a year in all major cities throughout india. Graduates (direct entry):- the upsc holds an all-india competitive examination, known as the combined defence services examination (cdse), twice a year for university graduates or equivalent. Engineering graduates (direct entry):- an engineering graduate can join the indian military academy directly. They only need to attend the service selection board interview. Age at the time of joining should be between 20-27 years.students who are in final and pre- final years of engineering degree course can also apply to indian army as an officer. They are eligible for induction into technical branches/services the army as commissioned officers under the university entry scheme. Age should be between 19-25 years for final year engineering students. Medical procedure:- • medical fitness is one of the important requirements to join indian army. • candidate would undergo thorough medical check up for qualifying any post of indian army. • visit http://joinindianarmy.nic.in/ to know the different provisions and facilities offered by indian army while making a candidate to undertake medical checkup. Re: Can I join Indian Army after 10th? To attain a good career in Indian Defence forces atleast you should need to complete your 10+2 in any of the stream viz Commerce, science and Arts. While studying in 10+2 you can appear for National Defence Academy (NDA) examination conducted by UPSC twice in a year. The examination is exclusively conducted for 10+2 passed/appearing students who wish to join defence forces. NDA exam is the most prestigious examination to get a reputed position in Indian Defence forces and you can expect a bright and reputed position along with handsome packages. For now you just concentrate on your studies upto 10+2 and after that for NDA entrance exam. You will discover many other field of jobs along your furthure studies. |

Re: Can I join Indian Army after 10th? hello sir, I am working as NGO co ordinator I am working in most backward area of Himachal Pradesh India where I have seen very good boys and girls but they are not educated.fifth pass,10th and 12th pass are there.they are so innocent and poor that they have knowledge and money/bus fair to come to chamba for recruitment in the army.I have seen that now city boys and girls are not interest to join army because of higher qualifications.even if they join they create indicipline in the army ? whereas these boys and girls are very loyal and sincere. I wish and want to know whether army can manage special recruitment compaign only for churah area i.e.minimum ten Gram panchayats at village Bhanodi which is situated at the height of 9000 MSL.Here minimum 100 boys will be available 10th]11th]12th pass, and more than 200 5th pass,and total illetraite.NGO will manage other facilities which if otherwise needed in high hills. swaran deepak raina,co ordinator,NGO sarvygya sarve hitkari manch,shivajee nagar,Mugla,post: Hardaspura-176318,chamba,himachal,India |
