It is good hear that you are interested in serving the nation. Unfortunately you cannot join the army at this tender age. You need to first decide which area you would like to join. You can either join after graduation. You will need to appear for an entrance exam by UPSC. Also you have options to join as doctor, logistics manager.

dear friend,
if you want to join indian army with a good rank, then you must first complete your 12th class with atleast 60% marks in total. at that time, you will have to give entrance exam of NDA. you can see the details of the exam on
www.upsc.gov.in

hello,you cant join Indian army after your 10th exam,you have to pass at least your 12th exam after that you can join the Army by writing fot the NDA exam which is conducted twice a year.

I salute your courage for joining the army, but after passing 10th you can join the Indian army for the following post:

*Soldier (general duty)

Salary is pretty low and job is real tough.

So i suggest you that you complete your 12th standard and then try in NDA. If selected, they will provide you training, graduation education and what more, you can even draw salary as a cadet in NDA.

So complete your class 12th and then think about joining the army.In that way you may even become an officer with a high post.

Save the nation??? sounds good!!!!!!!!!!! you will have to continue in science stream till your 12th.Then you can write NDA exam and join Army if you pass in both.

I don't think you can get a respective job with your current education profile.However you can get a post for a cook or saloon.If you wish to get a higher post then you've to qualify the 12th standard.

To join Indian Army you have to qualify the NDA or CDSE exam.

hello sir, I am working as NGO co ordinator I am working in most backward area of Himachal Pradesh India where I have seen very good boys and girls but they are not educated.fifth pass,10th and 12th pass are there.they are so innocent and poor that they have knowledge and money/bus fair to come to chamba for recruitment in the army.I have seen that now city boys and girls are not interest to join army because of higher qualifications.even if they join they create indicipline in the army ? whereas these boys and girls are very loyal and sincere. I wish and want to know whether army can manage special recruitment compaign only for churah area i.e.minimum ten Gram panchayats at village Bhanodi which is situated at the height of 9000 MSL.Here minimum 100 boys will be available 10th]11th]12th pass, and more than 200 5th pass,and total illetraite.NGO will manage other facilities which if otherwise needed in high hills.

No,you are not Eligible for Indian Army Exams.See the Eligibility Criteria of Indian Army Exams.



Eligibility Criteria :

Age limits : 16 1/2 - 19 Yrs.(i.e Not before 1st July 1992 & Not born Earlier to 1st January 1995).

The candidate should have completed their 12th from a Recognized Board Or Equivalent Qualification.

The candidate should have a minimum 70% Marks In Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics.

Sorry to say , but you cannot join the Indian Army after class 10th.

The minimum educational qualification required is to 10+2 pass candidates with physics , chemistry , maths with a minimum of 55-60% marks.

Age limitation is between 16.5 - 19 years with no relaxation.

Only unmarried male candidates can apply for it.

Minimum height should be 157.5 cm with 5 cm chest expansion.

To attain a good career in Indian Defence forces atleast you should need to complete your 10+2 in any of the stream viz Commerce, science and Arts.

While studying in 10+2 you can appear for National Defence Academy (NDA) examination conducted by UPSC twice in a year. The examination is exclusively conducted for 10+2 passed/appearing students who wish to join defence forces. NDA exam is the most prestigious examination to get a reputed position in Indian Defence forces and you can expect a bright and reputed position along with handsome packages.


For now you just concentrate on your studies upto 10+2 and after that for NDA entrance exam. You will discover many other field of jobs along your furthure studies.

u should be a minimum 12th pass out in order to be eligible for the IMA and NDA exams through which u can join indian army..unless u finish ur 12th u wont be eligible..so first pass ur 12th with a good percentage n then serve ur country well..
