Re: Please give me the details about niper 2010 Courses offered by the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research: • M.S (Pharm) • M.Pharm • M.Tech (Pharm) • MBA (Pharm) Centers of NIPER: • Ahmedabad • Guwahati • Hajipur • Hyderabad • Kolkata • Rae Barelli • S.A.S Nagar, Mohali Eligibility Criteria: A candidate should have done B.Pharm/M.Sc(in relevant disciplines)/B.Tech(Chemical Engineering) /B.V.Sc./ MBBS/BAMS or equivalent with atleast 60% aggregate or equivalent. Also the candidate should have valid GATE/NET scores for several disciplines. The eligibility criteria for different programmes varies in terms of the qualifying degree therefore refer to the admission notification for details. Those in their final year can also apply. How to Apply: Candidates can obtain the application forms in person or by post by sending a request for the form to NIPER, Mohali. Candidates have to send the filled form along with copies of their NET/GATE scorecard. Important Dates(Tentative): • Date of commencement for issuing Information Brochure: March 3rd week, 2010 • Last Date for receipt of request for issue of Information by Post: April 1st week, 2010 • Last date for issue of application brochure from NIPER: April 4th week, 2010 • Last date for submission of completed application forms: April 4th week, 2010 • Date of Entrance Examination: June 2nd week, 2010 • Commencement of program: July 4th week, 2010 Please note that the dates are only tentative and are not final. The post will be updated as soon as the dates are officially released. Pattern of Examination: The Entrance Test will be of 2 hours consisting of 200 Multiple Choice Questions. The questions will be from the syllabus of B. Pharma and MSc.(Relevant Field). There will be negative marking of 25% for every incorrect answer. Various programmes it offers includes M.S.(Pharm), M.Pharm, M.Tech(Pharm) and MBA(Pharm).
