National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) conducts an admission process for its various postgraduate Programmes in Pharmacy. Various programmes it offers includes M.S.(Pharm), M.Pharm, M.Tech(Pharm) and MBA(Pharm). NIPER is an autonomous body which was established by Department of Pharmaceuticals,Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India.
the eligibility is :-
A candidate should have done B.Pharm/M.Sc(in relevant disciplines)/B.Tech(Chemical Engineering) /B.V.Sc./ MBBS/BAMS or equivalent with atleast 60% aggregate or equivalent. Also the candidate should have valid GATE/NET scores for several disciplines.

Date of commencement for issuing Information Brochure: March 3rd week, 2010
Last Date for receipt of request for issue of Information by Post: April 1st week, 2010
Last date for issue of application brochure from NIPER: April 4th week, 2010
Last date for submission of completed application forms: April 4th week, 2010
Date of Entrance Examination: June 2nd week, 2010

Eligibility Criteria:

A candidate should have done B.Pharm/M.Sc(in relevant disciplines)/B.Tech(Chemical Engineering) /B.V.Sc./ MBBS/BAMS or equivalent with atleast 60% aggregate or equivalent. The eligibility criteria for different programmes varies in terms of the qualifying degree therefore refer to the admission notification for details. Those in their final year can also apply.

How to Apply:

Candidates can obtain the application forms in person or by post by sending a request for the form to NIPER, Mohali. Candidates have to send the filled form along with copies of their NET/GATE scorecard.

Please note that the dates are only tentative and are not final. The post will be updated as soon as the dates are officially released.

Pattern of Examination:

The Entrance Test will be of 2 hours consisting of 200 Multiple Choice Questions. The questions will be from the syllabus of B. Pharma and MSc.(Relevant Field). There will be negative marking of 25% for every incorrect answer.
