I am physically handicapped and my percentage of handicapped is 40%. Please tell me that I am under the reseve Category of physically handicapped or not??

If the student has complited his or her gradustion from ignou then it can be aceeptabl for the examination plz help.

Dear friend IAS stand for Indian Administrative Service.

IAS exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) once time in every year.

Age limit :-

Age should be between 21 years to 30 years for General category candidates.

Age relaxation for OBC category candidates 3 years

And SC/ST category candidates 5 years.

Candidate should be an Indian citizen.

Candidate should be completed Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University for appy IAS exam.

AGE Limit for the UPSC conducted Civil Services exams is

Minimum 21 years for all the candidates
Maximum 30 years for the General Candidates
Maximum 33 years for the OBC Candidates

IAS Exam i.e. Indian Administrative Exam
IAS exams are conducted by UPSC every year.
Minimum qualification required to appear for IAS exams is Graduation from a recognized university.


Age Limit for IAS exam:
General - 21 to 30 yrs
OBC - 21 to 33 yrs
SC/ST - 21 to 35 yrs
Defence Personnal - 21 to 33 yrs
Ex serviceman - 21 to 35 yrs

Hello Friend,
IAS or Indian Administrative service is a civil service exam conducted by UPSC every year.Graduation in any discipline is the minimum qualification to apply for the exam.The main factor is that the candidate should be a citizen of India.
The age limit to apply for the exam:
For General - The aspirant who have attained minimum 21 year & not have attained maximum 30 year on 1st August of the year of the examination.

The upper age limit is relaxed for:
1. OBC- 3 year
2. SC/ST - 5 year
3. Blind/Deaf/Mute/Orthopedically Handicapped - 10 years
4.Jammu & kashmir domiciles (1980-1989) - up to 5 year age relaxation
5.special cases of defense services personnel - up to 3 year
6.special cases Ex-service man who have rendered at least 5 year in military service up to maximum 5 year age relaxation.

These are the age limitation to apply for the IAS exam.if you are eligible then you should have apply for the exam.

for giving the IAS the eligibility for the age is
your age should be in between 21-30 years in case of general category. A relaxation of 3 and 5 years is given to the obc and sc/st students respectively.
the number of attempts you have in this age group is as follows-
for general= 4 attempts
for obc= 7 attempts
and there is no restrictions for the number of attempts for the sc/st category students

The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

CSAT exam conduct in 3 steps like - 1)Preliminary Exam 2)Mains Exam 3)Personal Interview.

Preliminary examination has two sections and each section consist of 200 marks.Both sections are objective types questions.

To write IAS exam you must complete your Graduate degree with any stream.You should be an Indian Citizen.
