Well,mostly companies demand at least 60% marks in 10th,12th n B.Tech.They did not even allow 59.9%.It would be difficult to say whether any company will allow less than 60% in 12th. Anyways,You can go for higher studies. All the very best for your future. |

It depends on company to company. you should inquire about the criteria of a company from your TNP i.e. training and placement cell |

Some of the top companies like Infosys,wipro,Yahoo,Google etc wont accept you because of your low 12th score So how to get? There are other companies which have low eligibility criteria for 12th unlike Infosys which has 65% in 10, 12th and B.Tech. I am not sure about the company names though but I think that if you B.Tech score is high then they can think of ignoring your 12th marks. Its highly possible Moreover you can impress them in the interview too So give it a try and dont give up |

Re: Am I eligible to apply for companies after scoring 57% in 12th? hello friend as your Btech marks and 10th are good but marks in 12th is low it is 57, so you will face a lot of problem the during campus time. as maximum companies want 60% marks, throughout of career. so you can't appear those interviews. actually MNC big companies provides such kind of criteria,but do not worry,because campanies like accenture,syntel,poornam,L&t infotech,mind tree etc...........u can sit in this campus so be ready for this campus............best of luck |

So don't worry about the past,keep concentrate on present states. Some companies ask the 55% students, they will recruiting, who have good communication skills & confidence. So concentrate on improving your communication skill and practice speaking in English. So in few month you will be get the confidence in your communication. In Now A Days, Most Of The Companies Wants 60% Marks In Your Whole Career, Since From Your 10th Class. So, If You Dont Scored Minimum 60% Marks, Then You Will Face Problem, While Apply for Jobs. But, I Will Not Say That, You Will Not Get Jobs. Manny Companies, Gives Chance To That Students, Who Scored More Than 55% Marks. So, Dont Worry, If You Dont Scored 60% Marks In Your 12th Exams, You Have Scored Good Marks In Your B.tech. So, Please Work Hard And Improve Your Communication Skills, If You Are Not Good. And Also Try To Improve Your GD, Because GD Is Very Important In These Days, Before Recruit The Students Companies Will Conduct A GD, If You Have Clear the GD And Interview, You Will Get Jobs. So, Knowledge Matters, When You Have Apply for Jobs Or Campus Recruitment. So, Read the Magzines And NewsPaper, To Updated With External Environment. Hello, As because you have 57%(<60%) marks in 12th , you will surely not be able to apply for career companies like TCS,MINDTREE,INFOSYS,MAHINDRA SATYAM in software sector . Also you won't be able to apply for CORE companies if you are a core branch student . But your B.Tech marks can help you a lot. You can apply to non career companies like ACCENTURE,WIPRO,L&T INFOTECH in software sector. And you get an added advantage in the interviews that you have improved yourself academically in the B.tech career. So, never get disheartened. Try hard and good luck. |

Coz there are many such good companies who ask for 55% all over the career. And companies only prefer above 60% in degree level. Companies like mahindra satyam, capgemini, mindtree pvt ltd come under these categories. |

That obviously depends upon your technical knowledge and management skills. So you can certainly apply for a job in a company. All the best!! |

Yes, you are eligibile for companies & other government sector exams because minimum eligibility for government sector exam are as follows: - 1. Pass B.E. or B.Tech or equivalent degree in Electronics & Communication Engg. or Mechanical Engg. or Computer Science Engg. or Chemical Engg. or Electrical Engg. or equivalent with a minimum of 65 % aggregate marks from a recognized Institute / University. 2. Nationality – Indian 3. Age - 21 Years to 30 Years for General candidates, 21 Years to 33 Years for OBC candidates and 21 Years to 35 Years for SC / ST candidates. Good Luck |

But if you get some certifications like SCJP, RHCE, which are in very much demand.... you can have a better chance to make it. Else join some small firm, and change after 1 year experience. |

So you can apply for those companies. You can also get yourself registered with many job offering websites like Times Jobs or Monster India You will find it difficult as fresher to get a job.
