Well, some companies expect great scores from students. Some of the top companies like Infosys, wipro,Yahoo,Google etc wont accept you because of your low 12th score

So how to get?

There are other companies which have low eligibility criteria for 12th unlike Infosys which has 65% in 10, 12th and B.Tech.

I am not sure about the company names though but I think that if you B.Tech score is high then they can think of ignoring your 12th marks. Its highly possible

Moreover you can impress them in the interview too

So give it a try and dont give up

All the best

Thumbs up Re: Am I eligible to apply for companies after scoring 57% in 12th?

Hello
Well, mostly companies demand at least 60% marks in 10th,12th n B.Tech.They did not even allow 59.9%.It would be difficult to say whether any company will allow less than 60% in 12th.

Anyways,You can go for higher studies.

All the very best for your future.

well, yes you are eligible for many companies

but some of the top companies wont allow you as

they have minimum percentage, of 60%.

so you will have to look for those when you have campus placements,

or apply off-campus, so don't worry

Many of the companies require you to have 60% aggregate throughout your career as elibility criteria.

So it will be difficult for you get chance to appear for interviews.

But not all companies place such restrictions, many of the require throughout 55% as eligibility criteria.

So you can apply for those companies.

You can also get yourself registered with many job offering websites like Times Jobs or Monster India

You will find it difficult as fresher to get a job.

But have patience because as soon as you gain experience no one will ask you for marks .They will look for your knowledge & experience.

Dear friend,

As you have 65% in the B.Tech, so your 12th 57% will not became a barrier in your carrier.

Without any fear you apply for placement, Until you remove this fear from your mind you can boldly appear in the interviews. All companies want talented, energetic, innovative and disciplined candidate in their company.

You prepare well, boldly face the interviews and be perfect in your field, success will come to you.

Well, most companies require 60% in 10,12,B.Tech so I don't think you can make it to top companies. But if you get some certifications like SCJP, RHCE, which are in very much demand.... you can have a better chance to make it.
Else join some small firm, and change after 1 year experience.

Yes, you are eligible for several companies even though you got 57% in Intermediate.
The only quality is you have to through with your subject knowledge without any academic gaps.

Some companies do have rigid eligibility criteria for job.

But certain companies like infosys take people even with dead kt's.

That obviously depends upon your technical knowledge and management skills.

So you can certainly apply for a job in a company.
All the best!!

Dear friend,,
please dont get depressed for securing 57% in inter. Coz there are many such good companies who ask for 55% all over the career. And companies only prefer above 60% in degree level. Companies like mahindra satyam, capgemini, mindtree pvt ltd come under these categories.

Hello,
As because you have 57%(<60%) marks in 12th , you will surely not be able to apply for career companies like TCS,MINDTREE,INFOSYS,MAHINDRA SATYAM in software sector .
Also you won't be able to apply for CORE companies if you are a core branch student .

But your B.Tech marks can help you a lot.
You can apply to non career companies like ACCENTURE,WIPRO,L&T INFOTECH in software sector.
And you get an added advantage in the interviews that you have improved yourself academically in the B.tech career.
So, never get disheartened.
Try hard and good luck.

In Now A Days, Most Of The Companies Wants 60% Marks In Your Whole Career, Since From Your 10th Class. So, If You Dont Scored Minimum 60% Marks, Then You Will Face Problem, While Apply for Jobs.

But, I Will Not Say That, You Will Not Get Jobs.

Manny Companies, Gives Chance To That Students, Who Scored More Than 55% Marks.

So, Dont Worry, If You Dont Scored 60% Marks In Your 12th Exams, You Have Scored Good Marks In Your B.tech.

So, Please Work Hard And Improve Your Communication Skills, If You Are Not Good.

And Also Try To Improve Your GD, Because GD Is Very Important In These Days, Before Recruit The Students Companies Will Conduct A GD, If You Have Clear the GD And Interview, You Will Get Jobs.

So, Knowledge Matters, When You Have Apply for Jobs Or Campus Recruitment.

So, Read the Magzines And NewsPaper, To Updated With External Environment.

Books Knowledge Not Matters, No One Will Ask You With Books.

If You Are Good In Aptitude And GD, Then You Will Get Good Jobs.

So, Please Contact Your College And Consults With Him About the Eligiblity Creteria To Appear In Campus Recruitment, Or Visit the Company Websites.

But Mostly Companies Wants 60% Marks Since From 10th.

Most of the companies look for career as 60%. It includes your entire career (1oth,12th,B.tech). But some companies consider 50% to 55% in the 12th but minimum 60% in the B.tech.
So you still have lot of options.

Obviously your are eligible to work in the companies.

But compare to other candidates you may have less opportunity.

So don't worry about the past, keep concentrate on present states.

Some companies ask the 55% students, they will recruiting, who have good communication skills & confidence.

So concentrate on improving your communication skill and practice speaking in English.
So in few month you will be get the confidence in your communication.

THIS WILL BE HELPING AT THE TIME OF INTERVIEW.

THOUGH YOU HAVE LESS PERCENTAGE,THEY MIGHT BE SELECTING YOU,BECAUSE OF YOUR COMMUNICATION SKILLS.

ALL THE BEST

well pal

most of the good companies generally demand

at least 60 % throughout the candidates academic

career. However other companies do have relaxed criteria

such as 55% etc. where you will be applicable.

It depends on company to company.

you should inquire about the criteria of a company from your

TNP i.e. training and placement cell
