Re: Which is the best institute for clearing Indian Economic Service Exam Sir, I did Mcom.i studied economics in 1 and 2 semester only. In 1 semester I had reappear in economics but after that I passed with good marks. Am I eligible to give IES Indian economics services exam? |

Re: Which is the best institute for clearing Indian Economic Service Exam Hi, Indian economics exam is conducted by UPSC of India for recruitment of various post where needed.It is IES/ISS exam.It is kind of competitive exam like IES exam. Some of the criteria given by Upsc guidelines are: Age:- 21-30 years on 1st January of the year of Examination, must not exceed 30. Qualification:- Must be a PG degree holder in Economics,Applied Economics,Business economic. >> Notification of the exam will usually come in June and the exam will be in November 2013. You can visit www.upsc.gov.in for updates about this exam. Syllabus:- * General studies *Economics * general english Some of the good coaching centres that you can rely on are:- 1.Kalinga IAS Academy, Rajinder Nagar 2.MADE EASY, Hauz Khas >> You can refer some good books like: 1. Indian Economy: R. Dutt and Sundaram.(for Prelims) 2. Indian Economy: Mishra & Puri (for Prelims) 3. Micro: Koutsoyyiannis(for Prelims), Ahuja (for Both). 4.
