CPT is the Common Proficiency Test for chared accounts. last exam was held on Sunday, the 19th June, 2011 next upcoming exam will be in december,the date is released in few days. qualification : A pass at the 10th Standard Examination or any other examination as recognized by the central government. A pass (or appearance) at the the 10 + 2 examination or any other examination as recognized by the central government. exam is held twice per year.1) in the june month 2)december month Eligibility There is no age limit to appear for the examination. You must be a citizen of India. If you want to apply for CPT then you need to pass out your 10th from a recognized Board. For the Appearing for the examination you need to pass out your 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board. You need to have good analytic skills and interest in numbers. |

Re: Date of CPT online exam? Common Proficiency Test (CPT) exam is conducted by the ICAI. The exam is held in 2 modes i.e Online & Offline modes. However, due to certain technical reasons, the dates for the online exam have not been declared as of yet. But as soon as the technical issues are sorted out, notification regarding the online exam will be issued on their official website. Also, there is no possibility for the online exam to be held before June. You may expect it to be held around August September later this years. For more details please visit www.icai.org |

However, due to certain technical reasons, the dates for the online exam have not been declared as of yet. The candidate who is awaiting for their results for 10+2 may also appear in CA - CPT exam. The higer qualified candidate who has completed their graduation i.e. B.com, M.com, ICWA can appear for CA - CPT exam.
