Hello Sir, I am a B.tech - Computer Science final year student I Scored 80%ile in GATE and at the Same time I am Placed in Capgemini with a Post of Sr. Software Engineer with a Package of 3.5 L. Now My Hurdle is that What To Do ?? Can I Get a Good College for M.tech in this Score ?? Should I Drop the Offer and Prepair for GATE next year ?? As there are No IES for Computer Science Students, So whats the Better option for Me ?? Please Help Me.. I am Really Stuck.. |

GATE Stands for GRADUATE APTITUDE TEST FOR ENGINEERING and this test is conducted for the candidates for Higher studies and For M.TECH degree in the renowned institutes of INDIA like IIT's. COACHING CENTRES FOR GATE EXAM ARE:
THE LIST OF COLLEGES ACCEPTING GATE SCORE ARE:
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR GATE IS: 1)You must have a bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology/ Architecture (4 years after 10+2) 2)If you are in the final year of the above degree then also you are eligible. 3)If you have a master's degree in any branch of Science/Mathematics/ Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent 4)If you are in the final year of the above M.Tech degree then also you are eligible. 5)If you are in the second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated Master's degree programme (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering/Technology then also you are eligible. 6)If you are in the fourth or higher year of Five-year Integrated Master's degree programme or Dual Degree programme in Engineering/Technology. 7)If you have obtained qualifications through examinations conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE . 8)Those who have completed section A or equivalent of such professional courses are also eligible. For every one seat they may call 3 to 5 top candidates. To make it more clear, for 20 seats they may call top 60~100 candidates to appear for interview. Those who secured above 90 percentile in GATE can apply for all IITs. I am sorry to say but you can not get admission in Mtech course offered at IITs. Thanks. |
