Re: How to become an Airforce after passing 12th science? Dear Friend In order to join the Indian Airforce ,just follow the simple steps after the 10+2. The entrance examination at 10+2 level which provides you opportunity to join the Air Force is the National Defense Academy which is conducted by the Union Public service commission . Step 1: You need to become eligible for the exam: >>The minimum educational qualifications required for the exam is 10+2 passed or appearing from a recognized board . >>For Air force ,mathematics and science at 10+2 is compulsory . Age criteria: >>The age limit for the exam is 16.5 to 19 years. >>You must be unmarried male Indian. Step 2: Now after becoming eligible for the exam you need to apply for the exam. Recruitment of :- · Indian Army · Indian Navy · Indian Air force To apply for this examination , candidate have to fulfill the Marital Status , Age limits , Education Qualification , Physical Standards . Required Education Qualification , candidate have a minimum qualification for Army examination is intermediate of a recognized School or equivalent qualification and there is no minimum marks required . Required Education Qualification , candidate have a minimum qualification for Navy / Air force examination is intermediate with Mathematics and Physics as subjects of a recognized School or equivalent qualification and there is no minimum marks required . Only Unmarried (Single ) male candidate born not earlier than 2nd July , 1994 and not later than 1st January , 1997 are eligible to apply for this examination and there is no upper age limits is applicable for this examination . Candidate must be mentally and Physically fit according to the physical standards of National Defence Academy examination . |

To become an Air Force officer after 12th standard, one has to apply, appear and crack NDA(National Defence Academy) entrance exam conducted twice every year by UPSC as NDA-I and NDA-II to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. The eligible candidate aspiring to join Indian Air Force of NDA, must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health. This exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year. NDA-I NDA-II NDA has three wings: Indian Army Indian Air force Indian Navy Eligibility Criteria: The candidate should be citizen of India. The candidate should complete the 12th standard from recognized state board of India. Percentage not required for this exam. PCM subjects are required for the Navy & Indian Air force jobs. The Candidate age limit should be between 16.5 to 19 years. No upper age relaxation for other categories. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this exam. Female candidates are not eligible for this exam. Candidate should physically fit for this exam. Selection Process: Written Test Interview Medical Test  Physical Standards: All the best............ |

If you want to join Indian Airforce after passing class 12th, than you have to appear in the UPSC NDA exams Educational Qualification : Army Wing-12th Class Pass/Equivalent in any stream from a recognised Board/Equivalent. Airforce Wing-12th Pass with Physics and Maths as subjects from a recognised Board/Equivalent. Navy Wing-12th Pass with Physics and Maths as subjects from a recognised Board/Equivalent. Age- Minimum 16.5 years Maximum 19 years No age relaxations is given to any candidates who apply for the NDA exams Next NDA exams would be held on 11th August 2013 Physical requirements for the Indian Airforce Minimum height is 152 cms Leg Length- Minimum 99 cms Maximum 120 cms Thigh Length-64 cms Sitting Height- Minimum 81.5 cms Maximum -96 cms |
