Im 12th science student and i dreamt of becoming an Air Force. so respectively am i possile with this 12th standard grade?

NDA examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year .This exam is conduct twice time in a year by upsc as NDA I and NDA II Exam .This exam is conduct for recruitment in - Army wings, Navy wings, Air force Wings.

The minimum required qualification for NDA exam is 12th standard .If your 12th subject is mathematics and Physics then you are applicable for all above wings.NDA exam not require any percentage marks of the candidate.

Your 12th standard is science background so you are applicable for Indian Air force wings .

The candidate age should between 16.5 years to 19 years.There is no age relaxation for Sc/ST candidate . Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply. You must have Citizenship of India.

This exam is conducted by UPSC twice in Year in Month of June and December called NDA-II and NDA-I......


NDA exam is conducted in Three Wings:

1.Indian Army
2.Indian Navy
3.Indian Air Force


Eligibility and Criteria:

1.A candidate must have completed their 12th science from recognized Board are eligible for AIR FORCE and NAVY wing...

2. Final years students also eligible for this exam...

3.Age of candidate should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years There is no age relaxation for Sc/ST candidate....

4.Only Unmarried Male are eligible for it...

5.Girls are not eligible for this exam...5.

6.A Candidate have nationality of INDIA...

If you want to join Indian Airforce after passing class 12th, than you have to appear in the UPSC NDA exams


Educational Qualification :

Army Wing-12th Class Pass/Equivalent in any stream from a recognised Board/Equivalent.

Airforce Wing-12th Pass with Physics and Maths as subjects from a recognised Board/Equivalent.

Navy Wing-12th Pass with Physics and Maths as subjects from a recognised Board/Equivalent.

Age- Minimum 16.5 years
Maximum 19 years
No age relaxations is given to any candidates who apply for the NDA exams

The eligible candidate aspiring to join Indian Air Force of NDA, must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health.

The selection is through written exam followed by Personal Interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

To apply for this examination , candidate have to fulfill the Marital Status , Age limits , Education Qualification , Physical Standards .

Required Education Qualification , candidate have a minimum qualification for Army examination is intermediate of a recognized School or equivalent qualification and there is no minimum marks required .

The entrance examination at 10+2 level which provides you opportunity to join the Air Force is the National Defense Academy which is conducted by the Union Public service commission .
