Dear aspirant,  ~> NDA Exam is a Defence Exam that is conducted every year by UPSC twice for admission to Army, Navy or Air Force Wing of National Defence Academy. ~> Since this exam is commenced for two times in a year i.e. in April and August. So, UPSC has named it NDA-I and NDA-II. ~> Recently, NDA-I Exam of 2012 was conducted on 15 April 2012 and NDA-II was conducted on 19 August 2012. Eligibility Criteria: ~> According to Eligibility Criteria of NDA Exam: ~> Only Unmarried Male Candidates can appear for this exam. ~> Age of the candidate must lie between 16.5 to 19 years. ~> Candidate must be 10+2 passed/appearing from PCM Stream (for all wings of NDA) or Arts/Commerce Stream (for Army Wing only). Selection Procedure: ~> Selection Procedure is based on three stages i.e. ~> Written Test ~> Physical Test ~> Personal Interview How To Apply: ~> Only Online Forms are available for NDA Exam. ~> Candidates can apply for this exam through: upsconline.nic.in ~> For more information, visit: upsc.gov.in |

There is absolutely no difference between NDA-I and NDA-II except the conduction of exam for NDA-I in first part of the year and NDA-II in the second part of the year. National Defence Academy(NDA) exam conducted two times every year by UPSC for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.  Both NDA-I & NDA-II are same examinations which are conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. The Difference is that both exams are conducted on different dates. 'Also , there is just one difference in these two exams as 12th appearing students can apply for NDA-I exam but cannot apply for NDA-II. Otherwise , all other eligibility criteria for both the exams are the same. this is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Re: What is the difference between NDA I and NDA II? Hello friend, NDA (National Defense Academy) Exam is conducted for recruitment of candidates in Army, Air-Force and Naval wings. Since, the examination is conducted twice a year, they have been named as NDA I adn NDA II. The NDA I of 2011 has been already conducted on 17-04-2011. Candidates who have not been able to appear for the exam may try for the upcoming NDA II. The last date of submission of application form for the same is 09.05.2011. The Examination will be conducted on 21.08.2011. To apply online for the exam, click here |

UPSC conducts NDA written exam twice a year. NDA exam conducted in the month of April is called NDA I exam. Its course starts from 1st January. NDA exam conducted in the month of August is called NDA II exam. Its course starts from 1st July. There is no major difference between both the exams. Their pattern, eligibility, total marks etc. remains same. |

NDA-I notification will release in the month of October every and exam will be held in month of April. NDA-II notification will release in the month of April every year and exam will be held in the month of August. |

For the first time in the academic year, it will be called as NDA I The second time, it will be called as NDA II. For the academic year 2011, NDA I was already over on 17-04-2011. NDA II exam is going to be conducted on 21-08-2011. If you fill the eligibility criteria, you can apply for the exam. |

Hello....There is just the difference of dates in NDA I and NDA II.syllabus,exam pattern,duration of exam and everything except the question paper is same.It is conducted twice a year in April and August that is why it is given numbers I and II. National Defence Academy (NDA) Recruitment of candidates to Army, Navy and Air force wings of the National Defence Academy (NDA), is through National Defence Academy Entrance Exam which is held twice a year, generally in the month of April and September. But this time one exam is in August. For 2011 dates are: NDA I( 2011):17.04.2011 NDA II ( 2011): 21.08.2011 NDA exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
