what is diffreance between nda 1 and nda 2?

National Defence Academy (NDA)
Recruitment of candidates to Army, Navy and Air force wings of the National Defence Academy (NDA), is through National Defence Academy Entrance Exam which is held twice a year, generally in the month of April and September. But this time one exam is in August.

For 2011 dates are:
NDA I( 2011):17.04.2011
NDA II ( 2011): 21.08.2011

NDA exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). A candidate must be an unmarried male. The course of training is for three years.

Hello....There is just the difference of dates in NDA I and NDA II.syllabus,exam pattern,duration of exam and everything except the question paper is same.It is conducted twice a year in April and August that is why it is given numbers I and II.

there is no difference between NDA I and NDA II. it helds twice a year so it is called NDA I and NDA II. course of duration , course and all activies are same.

there is no difference between nda 1 and nda 2..Both r d gates to join INDIAN DEFENCE FORCES.. d only difference is nda 1 is conducted in april and nda 2 is conducted in august.and d age limit is also different for both d entrance examinationzz...

NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY & NAVAL ACADEMY EXAMINATION

There is no difference between NDA I and NDA II on the basis of exam pattern.

The difference that exist in these exam is

a. Age criteria considering date changes and

b. Exam date is different for NDA (I) and NDA (II).

NDA exam is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year.

For the first time in the academic year, it will be called as NDA I

The second time, it will be called as NDA II.

For the academic year 2011, NDA I was already over on 17-04-2011.

NDA II exam is going to be conducted on 21-08-2011.

If you fill the eligibility criteria, you can apply for the exam.

To intake two batches in Defense Service every year,they are conducting NDA exam twice in year.

NDA-I notification will release in the month of October every and exam will be held in month of April.

NDA-II notification will release in the month of April every year and exam will be held in the month of August.

Hello friend,

UPSC conducts NDA written exam twice a year.

NDA exam conducted in the month of April is called NDA I exam. Its course starts from 1st January.
NDA exam conducted in the month of August is called NDA II exam. Its course starts from 1st July.

There is no major difference between both the exams. Their pattern, eligibility, total marks etc. remains same.

NDA (National Defense Academy) Exam is conducted for recruitment of candidates in Army, Air-Force and Naval wings.
Since, the examination is conducted twice a year, they have been named as NDA I adn NDA II.
The NDA I of 2011 has been already conducted on 17-04-2011. Candidates who have not been able to appear for the exam may try for the upcoming NDA II.
The last date of submission of application form for the same is 09.05.2011.
The Examination will be conducted on 21.08.2011.

nda-1 exam is mainly conducted in march-april
nda -2 exam is mainly conducted in august
student selected through nda are sent for the officer training to naval academy and ima dehradoon

Yes, friend if you satisfy the eligibility conditions for NDA then you can apply for any or both of them.
