But, in general the average salary per month is rs. 40000-50000 You will have six months on ship and six months at your home, but the six months in ship are very difficult to sustain as there is no life but just water. That is why the company offers six month vacation and high salary |

As you have just started a job in Marine Engineering,as a 5th Engineer Salary would be above Rs. 40,000 Per Month, but it may vary from company to company. With this you have 6 months on duty , and 6 months vacation. Pros Great job, good package --> Chief Engineer gets around 5 Lakhs Per Month. Cons 6 months on sea is a little difficult to spend, away from family, Tiring job. Regards Sammy11 |
