what is the pay scale of 5th engineer in marine ..please tell me regarding the pay scale

Hi dear..

As you have just started a job in Marine Engineering,as a 5th Engineer Salary would be above Rs. 40,000 Per Month, but it may vary from company to company.

With this you have 6 months on duty , and 6 months vacation.

Pros
Great job, good package --> Chief Engineer gets around 5 Lakhs Per Month.

Cons
6 months on sea is a little difficult to spend, away from family, Tiring job.

For the 5th engineer in marine, the package and salary may be different in each other company, according to their norms.
But, in general the average salary per month is rs. 40000-50000
You will have six months on ship and six months at your home, but the six months in ship are very difficult to sustain as there is no life but just water. That is why the company offers six month vacation and high salary

Do the marine engineers is get paid of for the period when they are at their vacation time

I will finish my BE graduation next year,and I don't have any ideas about my career ;so please give some positive comments about my question and is there any vacancies for 5th engineer ;THANKS for reading and I will be happy to see reply for this pls
