Re: Syllabus for AFCAT? The AFCAT Exam 2012 Question Paper will have total 100 Questions. The total time allotted the AFCAT 2012 Exam is 2 Hours. Please Note: There is negative marking. Each question carry 3 Marks. For a wrong answer, 1 Mark is deducted. Paper Topics General Awareness History, Sports, Geography, Environment, Civics, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, Current Affairs, Politics etc Verbal Ability in English Comprehension, Error Detection, Sentence Completion, Synonyms, Antonyms and Testing of Vocabulary. Paper 1 Multiple type question with 4 options and syllabus is as follows- (a) General Awareness – History, Sports, Geography, Environment, Civics, Basic Science, Defense, Art Culture, Current Affairs, Politics etc. (b) Verbal Ability in English – Comprehension, Error Detection, Sentence Completion, Synonyms, Antonyms and Testing of Vocabulary. (c) Numerical Ability – Decimal Fraction, Simplification, Average, Profit & loss, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion and Simple interest. (d) Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test – Verbal Skills and Spatial. Paper 2. descriptive type and syllabus is as follows- Answer the questions from the given passage, Letter writing and essay on the given topics. Re: Syllabus for AFCAT? IAF has not specified any syllabus for AFCAT i.e Air Force Common Admission Test. It has only mentioned the exam pattern which consists of objective type questions from 5 sections namely: General Awareness Numerical ability Reasoning Verbal ability General Aptitude The no. of questions is expected to be 100 & time limit is 2 hours. This exam is similar to other competive exams like AAO exam of LIC or management trainee exam of PNB or bank PO exam. So prepare accordingly. |

Re: Syllabus for AFCAT? Any candidate who aspiring to join the Indian Air Force needs to appear for the AFCAT entrance exam. Only on clearing this exam will the candidates be called for personal interview. The next exam is scheduled to be held on 27th March. It is an multiple choice objective type paper. The duration is for 2 hours. There will be a minimum of 100 questions. The candidates needs to prepare in areas like Numerical, Verbal and Reasoning Ability. There will also be a section in General Knowledge area. Try working out previous year question papers. For more practice there are books available in the market for Bank PO, MBA entrance exam etc. The pattern of the questions are similar in nature. |
