Re: NDA Eligibility based on my eyesight, height and health Hi Dear, Candidates who have a passion to serve the nation joined NDA. NDA has three wings 1) INdian Air Force 2)Indian Navy 3)Indian Army NDA exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in every year. Academic Qualification:-Candidate must have passed 12 exam with 60% from any recognized education board. Candidates who want to join Indian Air Force or Indian Navy must have Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects. Age Limit For the exam: Minimum age is 16.5 years and Maximum age is 19 years for applying the exam. Only male candidates are eligible for the exam after class 12. Physical fitness: Height of the candidate 152 cm and weight of the candidate is 45kg and eye vision is 6/6 without glasses Wish You Best Luck, Thanks |

If you don't have the required fitness then you will not be allowed to join NDA. Height and Weight Criteria for NDA:  Eyesight Criteria for NDA:  Along with above you must be 10+2 passed from a recognised Board of education. The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness. Re: NDA Eligibility based on my eyesight, height and health Hi friend, N.D.A. exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year. NDA stands for National Defence Academy. The students of 12th appearing or 12th passed are allowed to apply for NDA exam. The age of candidate must br from 16.5 to 19 years. The candidate must be unmarried male. The process of NDA Exam consists of following steps: >>Written Examination >>SSB Interview >>Medical test. The minimum height required is 157.5 cms. The eye sight of candidate for better eye must be 6/6 or 6/9 and for worse eye must be 6/12 or 6/9. The glass or spectacles correction is permissible. Your age must be between 16(1/2) to 19 years at the time of appearing in NDA exam. for other eligibility criteria & other information regarding exmas kindly visit: www.upsc.gov.in Candidate must have a pass grade in 12th grade... So there is no separate % marks is needed just the pass mark...The certification must be from a recognized board or university...The candidate must be above 16 1/2 years and below 19 years as on January 2011...Scholarships are also available for the candidates depending upon their need. |

Qualification required - Candidate should complete the 12th with science (physics,chemistry,math ) from any recognized board . 2. 6/6 vision is required. 3.Age limit = 16.5 to 19 years. If you can satisfy all of the above you are eligible. NDA-I exam notification for this year: Issue of application form from 31st Dec 2011 to 30th Jan 2012. Exam will held on 15th April 2012.
