Yes, you can appear in GATE exam 3rd time too as there is no number of attempt restriction in GATE exam. However Gate score is valid for Two years only.The eligibility criteria for GATE exam is as under- 1. A candidate must be a graduate in B.E/B.Tech/B.Architecture from a recognized university or college. 2. A candidate should have secured a minimum 60% aggregate or CGPA (whichever is valid) for the GEN, and 55% for the OBC/SC/ST applicants. 3. There is as such no limit to the no. of attempts in the GATE exam. 4. Pre-final year students are not eligible to write the GATE exam, however the final year students can apply for the same. |

Gate exam is conducted by Indian Institute of Technology. * There is no restriction for attempts in Gate exam. So you can attend as many you can. * There is no restriction for age limit in Gate exam. So you can attend at any age. * Candidates should be a graduate in Architecture or in engineering. * Final year candidates can also apply for Gate exam. * There is no minimum percentage criteria for gate exam. * Gate exam score is valid for two years. Only thing that is important is academic qualification. It is as follows -One should have a bachelors degree in Engineering/ Technology/Architecture (4 years after 10+2) -Those who are in the final year or pre final year of above mentioned programs are also eligible to appear for the exam. Yes you can appear for the GATE exam even the 3rd time subject to that you are fulfilling the academic qualification. There is no limitation on the number of attempts for GATE exam but GATE score is valid for a period of 3 years. thanks |

GATE : Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering GATE is the common entrance exam which is conducted by the IIT's and the IIM's in order to select the sharp minds for the Master's Programs and Courses all over India. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR GATE :: 1. A candidate must be a graduate in B.E/B.Tech/B.Architecture from z recognized university or college. 2. Dear friend, If you are interested in GATE examination, Then you will have to fulfill these criteria first. then you will be able for GATE examination : 1.You should complete your graduation[B.E/B.TECH/MCA/BSc/] 2.Final year students can also apply for GATE. 3.Pre final year students are not eligible for GATE examination. 4.Your age must be within 21 to 30 years. There is No upper Limits For Gate, A guy who is aspiring to give Gate Exam need to Full fill only Educational Qualification which is Engineering Graduate with No Backlog at the Time of counselling at particular college. More Details about Educational Qualification in this link. Gate Educational Qualification. If you want to prepare it in your spare Time Or if you want to take this Exam seriously then you are advised to go for Gate coaching, At least For One year and then Go for it. You will Definitely crack this. Again i am saying There is no age limits you can give this Exam at any time and at any age. so yes you can appear for gate as many number of time you want to attend..

This means you can appear for GATE exam as many times as you want. Also there is no age limit for appearing in GATE exam. Candidates of any age fulfilling the eligibility criteria for GATE exam can appear in the exam. But it is always better to crack the exam in first few attempts. So work hard. |
