Re: Date of sale of TANCET exam forms? TANCET 2011 Application Form: The Application Form is the same for all the three entrance tests. Candidates are allowed to submit only one application for one program. The candidates have to pay a fee of Rs.300/- (Rs.150/- for SC / ST Candidates). If they desire to appear at more than one program tests, they will have to pay additional fee of Rs 300/. Date and Time of TANCET Exam 2011 : M.B.A 28.5.2011 (Saturday) 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon M.C.A 28.5.2011 (Saturday) 02.30 p.m. to 04.30 p.m. M.E. / M.Tech. / M.Arch. / M.Plan. 29.5.2011 (Sunday) 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon Eligibility for TANCET 2011 : TANCET MBA 2011 : A Pass* in any recognised Bachelor’s degree with minimum 3 years duration in 10 + 2 + 3/4 years pattern (or) any recognised Bachelor’s degree with 10 + 3 years diploma +3 years pattern (or) B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Arch. / B.Pharm degree. TANCET MCA 2011 : A Pass* in any recognised Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration in 10 + 2 + 3/4 years pattern in any discipline with +2 level Mathematics (or) any recognised Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration in 10 + 2 + 3 years pattern in any discipline with Mathematics or Statistics as any one of the subjects. TANCET M.Tech. / M.E. / M.Arch. / M.Plan. : Details of the common eligibility criteria are available in the “Information & Instructions Booklet” for TANCET 2011 to be issued during Spot Registration and also in the website : http://www.annauniv.edu/tancet2011 Minimum eligibility marks will be indicated by the admitting authorities concerned in their TANCET 2011 notification for TANCET admission. Note : i) M. Sc. (2 years) course is not eligible for admission to M.E. (Computer Science) related courses. ii) Candidates admitted through Lateral Entry in Degree Courses are not eligible except, B.E./B.Tech. degree. iii) B.E./B.Tech. degrees obtained through Distance Education Mode / Week end Courses are not eligible. Those who are appearing for final year / semester examination of the above qualifying degree in April / May 2011 can also apply for TANCET Exam 2011. |

This exam is for giving admissions into M.Tech/M.E./MBA/MCA/M.Arch/M.Plan programs. For the current academic year,TANCET 2011, the notification has not been announced yet. In the previous year the exam was conducted on 29 & 30 of May 2010. This year too we may expect the same dates or a slight change in the dates for TANCET 2011.
