Re: Procedure to become Income Tax Officer after completion of B.Com course? You need to be a graduate to become the income tax officer. The graduation can be done in any discpline. age limit is 18-27 years Then you have to give a written exam conducted by the SSC. If you qualify for the written exam then you will be called for the personal interview. For more information log onto ssc's official website. all the best
