Dear, For IPS examination: - Minimum educational qualification is graduation with first division marks from a regonised university. In graduation you can do B.E. , B.Tech. , B.Sc. , B.Com. , B.A. etc. Accoding to my opinion, you can do B.E. or B.Tech. after 12 th . Good Luck |

Eligibility criteria for IPS officer - Qualification - Graduation in any discipline from arecognised university. Age - 21 -30 years SO, you can apply for IPS exam only after completing graduation. |

Hi there .... any body with a degree in hand is eligible to write civils services exam irrespective of the percentage they secure n degree they might have ... al v need is a degree .. so b prepared for it n write it instantly after getting ur degree in hand .. wish u al very gud luck ... do hard work n get succeeded |

for giving the ips exam, you will first have to complete graduation in any field. the minimum qualifications required for a person to apply in the ips exam is that the person must have completed graduation in any field with atleast 60% marks. the age limit for the exam is 21 to 30 years which can exceed from 30 to 35 years for sc/st students. for more details regarding the exam, you can visit their official website www.upsc.gov.in |

The minimum eligibility for this civil service exam is to be a graduate. this exam is conducted by UPSC every year. so, the minimum requirement is the completion your graduation from a recognized college. the age limit exist for this exam is 21-30 years for the general candidates. there are 5 & 3 years of age relaxations are applicable for SC\ST & OBC(NON CREAMY LAYER) respectively. so, you not appear in this exam till the completion for your graduation. good luck |

Re: Qualification required for IPS exam? Can I pursue it after 12th? ips itis indian police service.nowadays examination conducted by upsc for (ips,IAS,IFS and other post) is known as CSAT(Civil Servies Aptitude test). Qualifiation for it is graduation from any stream. and u cant pursue after 12 |

IPS Indian Police Service exam held by UPSC every year. and its eligibility is follow- any student who have Passed Graduation from a recognized university or College are eligible for appearing in IPS exam. Age: 21 to 30 years for Gen category OBC -3 year relaxation in upper age. and 5 yr relaxation for SC/ST. No. of attempts: General Candidates -4 OBC-7 SC/St-No limit. |

The candidate should have a graduate degree.So First Complete your graduation then Apply for Civil Service Exam. You can Select any subject for graduation.There is no Specific Course. There is a minimum Percentage for graduation. So,After completing Graduation you are definitely Eligible. |
