Qualification required for Indian Police Service? can i pursue it after my 12th?

please help!

Hi,

You need to be a graduate form a recognized university. Then only you can sit for IPS exam which is Civil services exam.

which all universities are there in Bangalore ,whichi can join?

For IPS examination: - Minimum educational qualification is graduation with first division marks from a regonised university.

In graduation you can do B.E. , B.Tech. , B.Sc. , B.Com. , B.A. etc.


Accoding to my opinion, you can do B.E. or B.Tech. after 12 th .

you need to be a degree holder to take IPS.... you can't do it after 12th.

Basic Qualification :

Minimum Qualification is Graduation.

Age should between 21 - 30 yrs.

The candidate should have a graduate degree.So First Complete your graduation then Apply for Civil Service Exam.

You can Select any subject for graduation.There is no Specific Course.

any student who have Passed Graduation from a recognized university or College

General Candidates -4

eligibility criteria for IPS exam:-

Minimum qualifications required for IPS exam are as follows: -

1. Pass graduation in any stream with minimum 60 % aggregate marks from a regonised institute / university.

2. Age - 21 Years to 30 Years for General candidates, 21 Years to 33 Years for OBC candidates and 21 Years to 35 Years for SC / ST candidates.

you are now in 10+2 passout so you are not eligible for IPS after completion of your graduation you are eligible for IPS exam.

to be a sub inspector what will i have to do?

ips itis indian police service.nowadays examination conducted by upsc for (ips,IAS,IFS and other post) is known as CSAT(Civil Servies Aptitude test). Qualifiation for it is graduation from any stream. and u cant pursue after 12

for sub inspector u have to be a graduate first and physical standard and stamina to run, jump etc bcoz all these comes in physical fitness test

the age limit exist for this exam is 21-30 years for the general candidates.

so, you not appear in this exam till the completion for your graduation.

for giving the ips exam, you will first have to complete graduation in any field.
the minimum qualifications required for a person to apply in the ips exam is that the person must have completed graduation in any field with atleast 60% marks.
the age limit for the exam is 21 to 30 years which can exceed from 30 to 35 years for sc/st students.

Qualification - Graduation in any discipline from arecognised university.

Age - 21 -30 years

SO, you can apply for IPS exam only after completing graduation.

IPS stands for Indian Police Service

[LEFT]ELIGIBILITY for IPS:

A candidate must have completed their graduation Degree in any Descipline (B.A, B.com, B.E ) with atlest 55% from recognise universities.
Final year students are also applicable.

Age Limit:

General category student:- 21-30 years.
OBC relaxation in upper age +3 years.
SC/ST relaxation in upper age +5 years.
