Re: Is assam institute of technology group of institution AICTE affiliated? AIT stands for Assam Institute of Technology. AIT is not affliated by AICTE(All India Council for Technical Education). It is affiliated/recognized by Govt. of India and its syllabus is approved by AICTE. AIT Group of Institutions introduced the courses of civil engineering and mechanical engineering degree/diploma under the Institution of Civil Engineers(India) and the Institutions of Mechanical Engineers(India) respectively. The course of Automobile Engineering is under The Institution of Motor Industry(IMI), Chennai. |

The course of Automobile Engineering is under THE INSTITUTION OF MOTOR INDUSTRY (IMI), Chennai. Assam Institute of Technology Group of Institutions has obtained the status of authorized study center from INSTITUTE OF ADVANCED STUDIES IN EDUCATION, UNIVERSITY, RAJASTHAN. The university is a NAAC accredited B+ (79% i.e. 5 star rated) institute, and is also NS.EN ISO 9001:2000 certified organization. |
