Re: Eligibility for Bank PO after B.Sc(medical) with 52% marks?

The eligibility criteria to apply for various bank positions have changed recently. As per the changed criteria, if you want to apply for Bank PO positions, you should fulfill the following criteria.

You should have scored a minimum of 60% of marks in your Graduation. or
You should have completed your Post Graduation with any of the stream.
You should be a citizen of India.
You should have minimum

Required age will be
20-28 years of age for the candidates of General category.
Relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category.
Relaxation in upper age limit upto 5 years for the candidates of SC or ST category.
Relaxation in upper age limit upto 10 years for the candidates with physical disabilities.

The selection procedure would involve
Written Exam
Interview

In the case of public sector, IBPS is conducting common written exam for the recruitment of PO positions for all public sector banks.

But in private sector, each and every bank will conduct its own written exam or selection procedure for the recruitment of these positions.

As you did not secure a minimum of 60% of marks in Graduation, you are not eligible to apply for Bank PO positions, but you can apply for Clerical positions.

If you want to apply for it, prepare well for the written exam and crack it.

Wish you all the best.

Hi,

Eligibility Criteria for Bank PO Exam:

-Candidate should have completed their graduation with at least 60 % aggregate from the recognized University.

-Candidate must be computer literate to be eligible for this course.

-Candidate must beage in between 21-30 years.

-Relaxation for category holders:-
1) For SC/ST :- 5 years
2) For OBC :- 3 years

There are few banks whose percentage criteria is 55% in graduation but you are not satisfying that also.

so i think you are not eligible for bank PO.

But i would like to tell you this is not the only option, there are so many other option which you can opt for your carrier.

So, don't loose hope, try for other jobs...

All the best....

Re: Eligibility for Bank PO after B.Sc(medical) with 52% marks?

Here i am providing the eligibility for bank PO exam.

Academic qualification :
-One must have secured a minimum of 55% in the graduation
-Some banks also asks for 10+2 percentage of 60%.

Age criteria :
-One should be in the age group of 21-30 years.

There is relaxation in upper age limit and percentage of marks for SC/ST candidates.

As you have secured just 52% in your graduation, you may not be eligible for the bank PO exams if you belong to General category.

If you belong to other than General category, then there is a chance that you might be eligible for the some of the bank PO jobs

I Think You Are Not Eligible To Apply For Bank PO Examination.

Because To Apply For Bank PO Examination, You Have To Scored Minimum 60% Marks In Your Graduation. But, The Eligiblity Criteria Are Vary From Bank To Bank.

Different Banks Have Different Eligiblity Criteria.

But To Appear In Bank PO Examination, Your Age Should Between 21 To 30 Years And You Must Have To Scored Minimum 60% Marks In Your Graduation. So, You Have Not Mentain 60% Marks In Your Graduation, So You Are Not Eligible To Apply For Bank PO Examination.

But Many Other Banks Allow Students Who Scored Minimum 55% Marks In Graduation. So You Have Not Mentain 55% Also In Your Graduation, So You Are Not Eligible to Apply For Bank PO Examination.

For More Details Please Check Different Banks Websites.

To be eligible for most of the banks, you must have passed your +2 with a minimum of 60 % marks and 55% in bachelors degree program.
