To be eligible for most of the banks, you must have passed your +2 with a minimum of 60 % marks and 55% in bachelors degree program. Some of the private sector banks considers candidates with a minimum of 60% in graduation. Re: Eligibility for Bank PO after B.Sc(medical) with 52% marks?
The eligibility criteria to apply for various bank positions have changed recently. As per the changed criteria, if you want to apply for Bank PO positions, you should fulfill the following criteria.
You should have scored a minimum of 60% of marks in your Graduation. or You should have completed your Post Graduation with any of the stream. You should be a citizen of India. You should have minimum Required age will be 20-28 years of age for the candidates of General category. Relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category. Relaxation in upper age limit upto 5 years for the candidates of SC or ST category. Relaxation in upper age limit upto 10 years for the candidates with physical disabilities. The selection procedure would involve Written Exam Interview In the case of public sector, IBPS is conducting common written exam for the recruitment of PO positions for all public sector banks. But in private sector, each and every bank will conduct its own written exam or selection procedure for the recruitment of these positions. As you did not secure a minimum of 60% of marks in Graduation, you are not eligible to apply for Bank PO positions, but you can apply for Clerical positions. If you want to apply for it, prepare well for the written exam and crack it. Wish you all the best. |
