Re: Lecturership or Job in IT company? which one to prefer after MCA? hi, i am amanpreet kaur. I m MCA passout student in 2013. I m working as lecturer in BCA college. But i want to teach in engineering college. Whether i should do Mtech IT or PHD ? plZ tell me which one is best. |

My suggestion is if you are fresher and you have 60% above better you try for software jobs. Now so many software comapnies will looking for freshers including MCA also. If you are not a fresher and no experience you will go for lecturer job You are elible for UGC-NET exam |

Because you have done MCA with great hard work , its not good to be a lecturer after completing MCA. If you get a job in MNC company you will get a good salary whereareas in Lecturership you cant expect it. so in my opinion you can go for JOB. AT THE END OF THE DAY its your wish ,i hope you will choose the right one. good luck! |

Lectureship Jobs is a noble job. where you can learn many things day to day. and IT company jobs are corporate job. where you can earn many a lot. now every thing on you. all the best..... |

Re: Lecturership or Job in IT company? which one to prefer after MCA? hi It depends on your interest in which you want to make your career. job of lecturer is also good ,you can make good career in lectureship,and job in industries are great for making good career,If you want to do some real work related to industry than go for the companies job,if you are comfortable in teaching than go for teaching. |

If you have that caliber that you will be a very good lecturer i.e you can give lectures, you can control students, you will explain the things properly, etc then go for that otherwise not. Doing jobs in companies is also good, but if you can get more respect and money through your caliber then you should go for that. Just decide truely and choose the right path. Because wrong decision may also affect you in future. |

I am doing MCA from IGNOU and doing PG diploma in Bio-informatics...... from last 6 year I am working as Technical Assistant in a eng. college. I want to get job as a lecturership in a good college.... Hey, I am a chartered accountant but as a girl I have realized that nothing works for girls better than PHD.. it's a cool job which allows you to meet ur career aspirations and at the same time take care of your family. Even if ur husband is highly co-operative and allows you to take up a hectic job, it always gets very difficult after a kid as their school timings is never so much. However, you can choose to delve into corporate sector initially, earn some good money and then decide when u actually need to - whether to get into a little relaxed corporate job or teaching sector. And who knows, you may get very nice in laws who are ready to look after your baby, while u work and earn. Ultimately ur choice, ur priorities and ur risk appetite... |

Re: Lecturership or Job in IT company? which one to prefer after MCA? look dear teaching is a novel profession . you will get also salary comparable to corporate sector as govt. has increased that. for your father you should not join teaching profession rather you should choose your own path. don't get confused first decide that in which line you want to go. there are also many IT firms like TCS, INFOSYS, IBM and many more are recruiting students every year. so you have both the options. all the best. |

See,you want a good company job after doing MCA which has no guarantee of the future like you will be settled in that or not.. I am not at all telling that company jobs are totally unsecured.. But as he is your father he thinks about your secured future and only Govt jobs best can assure you that certainty of secured job. And for a Govt job like a job as a professor,he wants you to appear in the UGC-NET exam. Now if you don't want a Govt job,you yourself have to convince your father that what you want.
