Any stream can be made best with interest and hard work. Find your interest and choice is yours. Science is also good stream as it has vast opportunities after 12th like you can go for bsc, medical, engineering, teaching and many more. Similarly in commerce you can go forB.com,M.com, BBA , BCA, BA ,MA , SSC ,IAS etc.

if his interest in commerce or he feels better in commerce than you should recommend commerce for him.otherwise there is more scope of science in future.
after +2 doing in arts or commerce,he will capable of doing b.a,b.com,b.c.a,b.b.a,p.c.s,i.p.s etc
and in medical line,he will do b.d.s,m.b.b.s,b.SC(nursing),b.a.m.s,b.h.m.s.
and in non-medical,he will do b.tech.b.e.,b.SC,b.SC(honors),b.arch,b.agriculture etc.

Yes as you said ,commerce also has a lot of career options todays information centuary.
Career options in Commerce and Management:
1.BMS (Bachelor of management Studies)
2.B.Com
3.BBA (Business Administration)
4.B.A., Economics etc.,
Also for Master 's Degree you can MBA, or M.Com and M.Phil etc.,
It will a lot for to find jobs.

Let your son take the suject in which he has intrest and if he takes the subject which he like whether it is science,commerce or arts he will be more successfull...

and if he has choosen Science then it is a very good decesion...

art level courses.
If you select comerce then you can go in ;-
>B.com
>BBA.etc
If you select science then you can go in;
>Enginnering

Hello guys. my self babli. i just have completted my tenth. I really don't know which field to choose. Actually till my eight i used to like science but from ninth onwards i liked history. but i don't want to go to arts streem. i am confused between science and commerce. actually i favour commerce a little more but after my 12th i don't really know which streem should i choose. It will be very sweet if some body really helps me out with that.

I will suggest you go for that which is like by your son..
He will do better..

All streams have the same weight age but it totally depend on you in which stream you have more interest or what stream you like. Now in this era all type of people are getting success.
If you want to study the arts then in most of the civil exams this subjects questions are asked. In art some subjects are very good in which you can make your career like politics, geology, English, Hindi, Social science etc.
If you want to study of the commerce then it have the higher weight age then the art stream and you can make you career in the accounting and finance. Every government and private organisation needs the commerce candidate. So they are recruiting in a very high commerce professional.
This is the era of science and technology so science stream have the more demands then the other streams. Through the science you can make your career in engineering, medical which have the huge demand in the every sector.

So nothing is weak in this tie but the weakness is the right and the talented professional.
