Hi, To become an income tax officer you have to apply for SSC C.G.L. exam and qualify it after qualifying it you will get the post based on your rank. Eligibility to become income tax officer- >> candidate to be and indian and graduate from any stream. >> candidate should be fall in age group of 21-29 years and 3 years relaxation and 5 years for SC/St. Selection process is- >> Preliminary exam >> Mains exam >> Personal interview Books referred for it are- Mathematics- R.D. Sharma Math- Paramount by Rakesh yadav Math- Arihant or R.S. aggarwal Math- Paramount by Hansraj Math - Paramount by Dr. S.S. bharti English- Luccent English- Paramount english- S.K.
