Re: How to join Indian Army? I am sorry, but I am not sure about your age eligibility. If you are doing MBA, then maybe you are over the age limit to get into India Army. Indian Army recruits unmarried male candidates between the age of 16.5 - 21 via NDA I exam and for NDA 2, the candidates who are born between 02 Jul 1993 – 01 Jan 96 can apply for the 2012 exam So you can check your eligibility and then apply if you are fit for it. Re: How to join Indian Army? There are many ways to join indian army First you need to decide weather you want to join army as an officer or as an ordinary rank(OR). For ordinary ranks various notifications are published in the local newspapers and enough publicity is given to them. Selection procedure contains physical and written exams. ELIGIBILITY: 10th pass and above 17and half years. For joining as an officer there are various exams for which you can appear and some direct recruitment schemes also like TES(technical entry scheme). note: for joining indian army from any scheme you must have to appear for SSB which is a 5 day selection procedure where you are judged on behalf of your personality and officer like qualities. after 12th: 1) NDA exam 2) TES after graduation: 1)UES 2)CDSE For more detailed information visit official website of indian army. Re: How to join Indian Army? Hello Dear, In India, army is the most important part of defence. To join Indian Army you have to fight Civil Defence Services exams i.e. CDS and NDA exams. Both CDS and NDA exams are conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). Educational Eligibility For Indian Army - A candidate pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Maths with minimum 50 % aggregate marks from a regonised board. Age Eligibility For Indian Army - 16 Years to 21 Years. Physical Eligibility For Indian Army - A candidate should be physically and mentally fit. 1. Eye Sight = 6/6, 2. Height = 167 cms, 3. Re: How to join Indian Army? hello friend, you can join the army in many ways, 1.through writing cds(combined defence services) which will be held on 15th february 2010. 2.through military engineering services who are constantly recruiting fresh graduates from engineering colleges. 3. Also there are various ssc exams but let me tell one thing ,to get to the army you not only have to clear the written tests and interviews but also the physical fitness test which is quite demanding,so be prepared physically as well. good luck |
