please help me to know that can i join indian army ? i have doing mba in the last semester currently.i want to know that how to join......

hello friend,
you can join the army in many ways,
1.through writing cds(combined defence services) which will be held on 15th february 2010.
2.through military engineering services who are constantly recruiting fresh graduates from engineering colleges.
3. Also there are various ssc exams
but let me tell one thing ,to get to the army you not only have to clear the written tests and interviews but also the physical fitness test which is quite demanding,so be prepared physically as well.

In India, army is the most important part of defence.

To join Indian Army you have to fight Civil Defence Services exams i.e. CDS and NDA exams.

Both CDS and NDA exams are conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).

Educational Eligibility For Indian Army - A candidate pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Maths with minimum 50 % aggregate marks from a regonised board.

Age Eligibility For Indian Army - 16 Years to 21 Years.

Physical Eligibility For Indian Army - A candidate should be physically and mentally fit.

1. Eye Sight = 6/6,
2. Height = 167 cms,
3. Weight: 50 Kg
4. Chest: 77 cm (Normal) / 82 cm (Expanding)

Procedure to Join Indian Army -

1. Written test,
2. Physical tests,
3. Medical tests,
4. Group tests and
5. Personal Interview.

If you have Done Graduation with Bachelor's of Engineering then Below are some Fields in which you can Apply for Only if you come under Age Limits i.e from 21 years to 24 years

One is CDSE i.e Combined Defense Services, Second is SSC i.e Short Service Commission Technical Entry and Third UES i.e University Entry Scheme.

Indian Army After PG

There are various entry schemes in Indian Army through which you
can apply for the Indian Army after the post graduation. Below
is the different entry schemes are given with their eligibility

1.Short Service Commission Non Technical Men

For joining the Indian Army,you have two options:

1. NDA and NA exam.

Conducted twice a year by upsc,India. (www.upsc.gov.in)

2. CDSE exam.

Conducted once a year.

I am sorry, but I am not sure about your age eligibility. If you are doing MBA, then maybe you are over the age limit to get into India Army.

Indian Army recruits unmarried male candidates between the age of 16.5 - 21 via NDA I exam and for NDA 2, the candidates who are born between 02 Jul 1993 – 01 Jan 96 can apply for the 2012 exam

So you can check your eligibility and then apply if you are fit for it.
