It is necessary to have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university with 50% marks in aggregate. The duration of this course is two years , whether it is done by open university or by any other university. |

Re: Duration of B.Ed course in O.U. for year 2016? B.Ed is bachelor in education course. This course is very helpful in teaching section. By this course one can easily understand the way to teach and by this course one can get good salaried job in the teaching section. The basic eligibility criteria for this course is, to have a bachelor degree course in any stream from a recognised university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. The duration of this course is two years. |

Re: Duration of B.Ed course in O.U. for year 2016? The duration of B.Ed. Course offered by Osmania University (O.U.) will be of one year duration divided into two semesters. One can get admission to one year B.Ed. course through the B.Ed. Common Entrance Test (EdCET) conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh for that academic year. |

Re: Duration of B.Ed course in O.U. for year 2016? If you want to pursue B.Ed in 2016 from an open university like IGNOU then you have to spend 2 years. You have to apply for admission when the notification is released by the respective university. Also, for taking admission in an B.Ed correspondence mode you must have teaching experience. Without teaching experience you will not get admission in distance mode B.Ed. |

Here is the admission procedure for you, A candidate for admission to one year B.Ed. Course has to qualify at the B.Ed. Common Entrance Test (EdCET) Conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh for that academic year. The candidates will be admitted strictly in accordance with the merit secured at the entrance examination, keeping in view the rules in force in respect of the statutory reservation of seats under various categories of candidates. |
