My 10th percentage is 97%.now am studying for comp engineering in good engineering college. I dropped 2 years gap for preparation of IIT.and 1 year during engineering. And now am studying in 2nd year.doing hard work for best academics.sir please tell me.that past conditions can affect my placement in company for job? |

I am b.tech(E.c) 2015 pass out and I have more then 65% in all 10th, 12th and B.tech and I was preparing for govt. job but now i want to join private job so what I do now which course can I do now to get job( i am not good in programming). |

Guys Please read my true story. 1.in 10th i have 64%. 2.in 12th ihave 51.5%. 3.in B.E i have 50% but i took 11 years to complete my engg. I was in hopeless situation but accidently got a dot net job in very small firm initially struggled badly for 3 years. But after getting 3 years of exp i was surprized as below companies called for interview for dot net development. 1.harbinger system 2.yardi. 3.cognizent. 4.cybage. 5.hcl. 6.amdocs. 7.tech mahindra. 8.capita. 9.zensar. But below companies never called me for interview. 1.Infosys. 2.tcs. 3.syntel. 4.wipro. 5.accenture |

I Have 2 Year gap after 12th because some physics and chemistry these two subject is back but i have also pass out the subject and i am also learned or completed hardware and networking course in that time... so its a gap or not |

In 10th - 10.0 CGPA (2011), 12th - 78% (2013), 89.6% (2014). In sem1 - 3.47/4.0 , sem2 - 3.78/4.0 ...!!! i have a gap of 1 yr between 10th and 12th, so any core company, for which i can get a chance...??? |

But when i told them i have a gap of 3 years between 12th and graduation, they said that i m anot eligible and cannot attend second round. only a maximum of 2 years gap is allowed. why?? |

Will it be consider as education gap? Currently, I am working in a manufacturing company, having more than 6 years of experience and wish to shift to an IT company. Few days back I have cleared the technical round of TCS now waiting for HR round. Will it be an issue in HR round? |

Re: Which IT Companies am I eligible having 3 years gap between 12th and B.Tech? most of the leading IT companies give eligibility criterion that candidates must not have more than two years gap between their study. these maximum two years gap also should be with valid reason. now as you have three years gap between your study then you will not be eligible for these types of leading IT companies. but there are so many other IT companies also. they don't have such types of criterion. some new IT companies also does not give any criterion. you have 70% marks throughout so it's a good marks it will give you a little bit advantage. but you must be technically strong enough to get good job with these much gap. study well and try for job through off campus for which company you will fulfill the eligibility criterion surely you will be selected in a good company. best wishes. |

Re: Which IT Companies am I eligible having 3 years gap between 12th and B.Tech? dear friend, To get a job in a leading software company you must have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:- 1.The candidate must have 60% aggregate through out the career. 2.The candidate should not have any pending backlogs during graduation. 3.The candidate must not have any study gap more than 2 years.. These are the criteria you have to fulfill.. As you have mention that you have 3 years of study gap then sorry to say you that you are not eligible for those companies.. But lots of IT companies are also there , those don't have such criteria , you can apply for those companies.. You can get the information regarding this from the training and placement cell officer of your college.. So, have a chat with your TPO... You can apply for govt. jobs also.. for that information read employment news paper.. All the best.. |

Some few software company allow 50% above criteria like WIPRO, SYNTEL , HONEYWELL etc. So you are eligible for WIPRO, SYNTEL ,HONEYWELL because your 10 th marks is just below 60%. Also you are eligible for .NET and PHP company so you can contact those company. Better option for you to go for higher study like JRF,SRF,MBA,M-TECH,MS,PHD etc. All the best. |

WELL,i do not think having 3 yrs gap shows incompetency as a person might have a genuine reason for gap like preparing for IIT,etc. Rather it shows the person is hardworking, patient and personality ready to face challenges. But it seems you have more than that. Therefore you should have a very less possibility to get selected in these companies. Although you can try for the CMM level3 companies to start your carrier.
