i have 3 years gap between my 12th and b.tech...in which IT companies m i eligible.i completed my 12th in 2005 and joined b.tech in 2008.. wil passout in 2012...can i apply for top IT COMPANIES...I have 70% throughout..

You mentioned that you have a gap of 3years.
Now. all the CMM level5 comapanies under NASSCOM allow a gap of 1year.
But it seems you have more than that.
Therefore you should have a very less possibility to get selected in these companies.
Although you can try for the CMM level3 companies to start your carrier.

WELL,i do not think having 3 yrs gap shows incompetency as a person might have a genuine reason for gap like preparing for IIT,etc. Rather it shows the person is hardworking, patient and personality ready to face challenges.
And above all you have such a good percentage so you don't have to worry while applyg in any of the top companies. if you are really a hard working and all your concepts are clear than definitely you can apply in tcs , infoysis etc.
you WILL definitely succeed ! Keep up the hard work

most of the leading IT companies give eligibility criterion that candidates must not have more than two years gap between their study. these maximum two years gap also should be with valid reason.

now as you have three years gap between your study then you will not be eligible for these types of leading IT companies. but there are so many other IT companies also. they don't have such types of criterion. some new IT companies also does not give any criterion. you have 70% marks throughout so it's a good marks it will give you a little bit advantage.

but you must be technically strong enough to get good job with these much gap. study well and try for job through off campus for which company you will fulfill the eligibility criterion surely you will be selected in a good company.

>>UG-BE / BTech (Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engg, Electronics & Electrical Engg, Electronics & Telecom, Electronics & Instrumentations, Electronics & Communication Engg, Instrumentation & Control)

>>PG-ME / MTech (Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engg, Electronics & Electrical Engg, Electronics & Telecom, Electronics & Instrumentations, Electronics & Communication Engg, Instrumentation & Control)

Academic Performance detail:-

60 % in Std X, XII, Graduation and Post Graduation ( Simple average for all the years of Engg.)

>> Candidates should not be having more than 2 years gap in their career.

>>No pending backlog at the time of appearing for the aptitude test.

so in the above all, you can see, most of reputed company does not hire candidate those have 3 years gap between 12th and B.Tech.

so you can't fulfill those criteria.so you will not eligiable for those companies.

but there have many small companies those are not checking above criteria.

they will check only check your fundamental concept, knowledge in subjects also your skill.

dear friend,

Maximum software company allow only two years gape.But you have 3 years gape so you are not eligible for maximum no of company.

Maximum software company want 60% in through out in career .

Some few software company allow 50% above criteria like WIPRO, SYNTEL , HONEYWELL etc.

So you are eligible for WIPRO, SYNTEL ,HONEYWELL because your 10 th marks is just below 60%.

Also you are eligible for .NET and PHP company so you can contact those company.

Better option for you to go for higher study like JRF,SRF,MBA,M-TECH,MS,PHD etc.

To get a job in a leading software company you must have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:-

1.The candidate must have 60% aggregate through out the career.
2.The candidate should not have any pending backlogs during graduation.
3.The candidate must not have any study gap more than 2 years..

These are the criteria you have to fulfill..
As you have mention that you have 3 years of study gap then sorry to say you that you are not eligible for those companies..

But lots of IT companies are also there , those don't have such criteria , you can apply for those companies..
You can get the information regarding this from the training and placement cell officer of your college.. So, have a chat with your TPO...
You can apply for govt. jobs also.. for that information read employment news paper..

i have 3 year gap can i eligible for syntel.

i have 4 year gap. may i eligible for top software companies?
and i have got marks in 10th is 63.00%
and in 12th is 57.20%
and in b.tech is 65%
what should i do please give me sollution ......
