Re: How to prepare well for afmc and jipmer entrance exams? can anybody tell me the books for Jipmer exam . because iam a 12th pass out. so i need books ( not like chapter -wise ques n ans ) , i have like 15 days for the exam . so plzzz suggest some good books . i dont have time to go through the basics . thank you in advance :) |

Jipmer is a premiere institute of India and as such its questions are above average.I would suggest you to thorough your NCERT books beside practicing questions from a good OBJECTIVE BOOK like that of GRB.Also keep on practing previous year paper which may help you in understanding the pattern and time management. Re: How to prepare well for afmc and jipmer entrance exams? be very clear in each bit u study and follow only the NCERT books. jot down the points which you find hard and revise them much more so that you find easy during the xams. there are quite few books to practise. My personal opinion is that RAMAN'S pioneers in PMT'S is quite intresting to solve including all the question papers frm 1994-2010. ALL THE BEST!! |

Dear Friend you prepare medical exam so study from todays at least 4 hour ok than get...hardwork man this is the best way 2 prepare for medical exams.... You should solve the sample papers as they will help you what type question are asked in the exam. You ca also follow the books of Arihant available for the preparation of the medical exams........All the best. |

Re: How to prepare well for afmc and jipmer entrance exams? You will have to work hard for these exams since they are considered tough. But you can make it easier by your hardwork. You can use your normal books like NCERT or Arihant which are evergreen books for all kind of entrances. Try to master these books first and later you can go for other hardcore books There are no sample papers available online for AFMC and JIPMER but Arihant provides certain books like AFMC past year solved papers. Try searching for these books in the book store Cheers

The general standard of the entrance examination will be that of 11th and 12th class under the 10 + 2 Scheme /pre medical /intermediate science or an equivalent examination of the State Education Board/Indian University. So prepare according to your +2 syllabus. All the topics covered in boards are covered in the exam syllabus. AFMC-MBBS entrance is a single-stage test followed by an interview. The competitive written examination will be of 2 hours duration and will have one paper comprising of 200 objective type questions in the following subjects. Subject Total Questions Biology (Zoology and Botany) 50 Chemistry 50 Physics 50 Intelligence, Logic and Reasoning 25 English Language and Comprehension 25 Each question would be of one mark and for each correct answer one mark will be credited. Wrong answers will have negative marks. For each wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted. Use of calculator, cellphone. PDA and log tables arc not permitted in the examination. Successful candidates in the written test are called for the interview conducted by AFMC itself. Thank You Good Luck |

The ncert books are the best option to review all the concepts as it contains whole the syllabus as well as students use to be familiar with this. So, ncert is preferred for all the entrance exams to review them well. But, if one is going through ncert books well then one must practice well with the mock test paper and last year question paper for the same so that the fundamental are brushed up and also it gives lot of confidence. Therefore I would suggest you to refer ncert books for theory brush up and then practice last year question paper from Arihant or Mtg's question bank. Thank You Good Luck |

If any of your friends have joined institutes, then see if you can borrow some test material from them and practice answering questions. You have to be very good at answering objective questions. So practice from various books that are available or from borrowed institute books. Time management is another thing. You have to be really fast in deciding answers. So when you practice, you can also time it side by side. Since there is negative marking in the exams, you have to be careful.
