It comes under Civil Services Examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission. Here is detailed pattern of Civil Services examination: Stage I: Paper I: General Studies Paper I. Paper II: CSAT. Now CSAT is qualifying, you need to score only 33%. Marks in General Studies paper will decide whether you will appear for Mains exam or not. Stage II: Mains exam. Paper 1: Compulsory language paper. Paper 2: Compulsory language paper. Paper 3: Essay. Paper 4: General Studies Paper I Paper 5: General Studies Paper II. Paper 6: General Studies Paper III. Paper 7: General Studies Paper IV. Paper 8: Paper I of optional subject chosen. Paper 9: Paper II of optional subject chosen. Last stage is interview. In prelims, you need not choose any subject. See the attachment which contains latest syllabus of all. |
