Age limit:
For General/OBC
Category - 21 -40 years

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess Bachelors Degree of any recognized University or equivalent qualification.

Age Limit: Candidates Age Should be between 21-40 years as on 01-07-2013.
Age Relaxations will be extended as per the Govt of Uttar Pradesh rules.
The maximum age has been inceresed from 30yrs to 40yrs by the state government.

Dear friend PCS stand for Punjab Civil Services.

Punjab Civil Services exam is conducted by Punjab Govt. in every year.

Candidate must have to completed Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University for apply this exam.


Age limit:-

Age should be between 21 to 30 years for General category candidates.

OBC category candidates are 3 years age relaxation.

5 years age relaxation for SC/ST category candidates .

No of attemopts:-

General category candidates- 4 times.

OBC category candidates- 7 times.

SC/ST category candidates- no limit.

The Punjab Civil services Examination is conducted every year by the Punjab State Government.

The Age Limits for Various Category of Students for this exam are mentioned below :

* General Category - 21-35 years.

* OBC Category - 21-38 years.

* SC/ST Category - 21-40 years.

Person should have attained the minimum age of 21 years and should not have attained the age of 35 years on the first day of January of the year.


(The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable up to a maximum of five years for Schedules Castes and Scheduled Tribes of all States and Backward Classes of Punjab.)

(Age relaxation in upper age limit, upto 10 years to the disabled persons of Punjab.)

3 years relaxation is given to OBC and 5 years relaxation for SC/ST/PD candidates.

Apart from that relaxation is provided to special state public and freedom figher

relatives.

The criteria for state public services exams are little bit changed and also the

period of relaxation may vary.

For GEN category most of the Stated PSCs allow age limit 21-35 years.

Hello,

Maximum age limit to appear for PCS exam:

* The age limit for must be within 21 to 30 years for general category.
* For SC/ST it is up to 35 years.
* For OBC it is up to 33 years.

* Candidates should get graduation from a recognized university.
* Final year candidates are also eligible.

Attempts:

For General category candidates it is - 4 attempts.
For SC/ST category candidate - No limit
For OBC candidates it is - 7 attempts.
