what is the maximum age limit for appearing in the pcs exam ?

The age limit for Union Public Services Examination is

21-30 years for GEN category candidates.

3 years relaxation is given to OBC and 5 years relaxation for SC/ST/PD candidates.

Apart from that relaxation is provided to special state public and freedom figher

relatives.

The criteria for state public services exams are little bit changed and also the

period of relaxation may vary.

For GEN category most of the Stated PSCs allow age limit 21-35 years.

If you want this information for some specific state then please mention.

Age limit for UPSC PCS exam :- 21-30 years as on 1.7.2011 for General.

The upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years for OBC Candidates.
and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
