You can do networking trainings from reputed companies or industrial trainings from telecom companies like BSNL/MTNL, as some short term courses. Software courses are also there like Core Java, web-application using J2EE/advanced java, .net, php and many more. So go for these ones ,and they are definitely going to help you in your placements and as well as will enrich your knowledge. |

Re: Short term course for b.tech ece if you are good in studies, and much interested then you can opt CA. otherwise go for CS(company secretary), both of these have thier own chram. and if you dont want to study hard, then go for air hostess, or fashion designing or interior designing, all of tehm provide you with the better job opportunities. bets wishes... |

Re: Short term course for b.tech ece hi friend, i want to suggest you that you can do programming besides your degree, you can take the option of the java language, it is divided basically in two parts like core java and advance java. you can also take the embedded system which will better for you because you have ECE branch. You can also go for the BSNL and MTNL. best of luck. |

Re: Short term course for b.tech ece As your branch is ECE so you have chances to place in Software field as well as hardware field So according to your choice if you want to go in software field then you should join short term courses for Java Web designing html and you have command on C C++ DSA etc. Secondly if you want to go in your core field then you should try to do following courses: 1 Networking 2 Autocad 3 You should take training from communication companies like Bsnl Mtnl and Indian Railway's 4 You should take the training from the IIT's for hardware designing like Antenna or microwave field. |

Re: Short term course for b.tech ece hi friend, doing placement oriented courses is very nice. you being a students of electronics stream you have opportunities for jobs both in software industry and your core companies. to get placed in top software companies having certification in programming languages will be good. so i would suggest you to do courses on Java, .Net, DB2, SQL, Web designing etc. you can also do networking and hardware related courses. being electronics student do courses like CCNA,Embedded systems,vlsi etc. gud luck for your placements
