I WANT TO PURSUE SOME SHORT TERM COURSES WHICH WOULD HELP ME IN MY PLACEMENT.
PLZZZZZZ SUGGEST ME.

There are many courses on demand that you can take for future reference or knowledge.

You can do networking trainings from reputed companies or industrial trainings from telecom companies like BSNL/MTNL, as some short term courses.

Software courses are also there like Core Java, web-application using J2EE/advanced java, .net, php and many more.

So go for these ones ,and they are definitely going to help you in your placements and as well as will enrich your knowledge.

as u r frm ece i will suggest u to do a course of robotics ....
each year in this period ie summer training a co. robosapiens launches summer internship program so u can try fr it it will help u a lot
u can also do vlsi course from a certified insti...
u shd try dat u get ur internship frm any iits

embedded system,vlsi , or if you want to do short term courses on the basis of communication , then you can go for BSNL, All India Radio..

Short term courses does not matter the most.
As what matters is the training from where you have done and how is your performance there.

and also you have have thorough about the project you have made either in your training time or in your 4th year.

i am preparing for next year engineering entrance examination.
i wanted to know that if i do any short term courses/certificate coures for b.tech before joining the
college.
then the coures what i have done before joining the college can be used further in future.
will that course be valid or not.
sir,
i passed my examination 2008 due to health problem and i can't joined college resulting 3 year gap
so i want to know
if short term courses/certificate course is valid then i can think upon for joining the coures this year.

resulting 3 year gap

doing placement oriented courses is very nice.
you being a students of electronics stream you have opportunities for jobs both in software industry and your core companies.
to get placed in top software companies having certification in programming languages will be good. so i would suggest you to do courses on Java, .Net, DB2, SQL, Web designing etc.
you can also do networking and hardware related courses. being electronics student do courses like CCNA,Embedded systems,vlsi etc.

short term courses like you can do embedded system course or PLC courses that are more benefical or other than this chip designing courses............or if you want to go the IT company you can do the Java courses...................there are vast variety of courses you can do......................

u can do training in bsnl office. u can also do training in drm(railway) office.
the embedded system is also a good option.
if u want to learn programming language then u can learn c,c++,java,.net,php languages

there are many scope for java language ni IT sector.
so u can also learn java language.it takes less time to learn as compare to others.

so u have many options for your future preference

i want to suggest you that you can do programming besides your degree, you can take the option of the java language, it is divided basically in two parts like core java and advance java.

you can also take the embedded system which will better for you because you have ECE branch.

You can also go for the BSNL and MTNL.
