Re: Can I apply for environmental science in UGC NET? I am a student of MSc Zoology Yes. You are eligible to apply for UGC NET as you have completed M.Sc (Zoology). UGC NET Eligibility - You must have passed Master's course with at least 50% from a recognized university. - Age Limit is 28 years for JRF and No age limit for Lectureship. Exam Pattern Paper I - Total 60 questions will be asked out of which 50 will have to be attempted. - Time Duration : 75 Minutes Paper II - Total 50 questions , All are compulsory - Time Duration : 75 Minutes Paper III - Total 75 questions , All are compulsory. - Time Duration : 150 Minutes NET Important Dates - Online Registration starts From : 12/04/2016 - Last Date of Application : 12/05/2016 - NET Exam : 10/07/2016 |

NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted twice time in year by UGC. Those candidate who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55%and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its hold 50% above in masters degree. Age criteria for NET exam:- For JRF Post :-Your age should be below 28 years. For Lectureship Post :-There is no age criteria.
