NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted twice time in year by UGC. Those candidate who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55%and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its hold 50% above in masters degree. Age criteria for NET exam:- For JRF Post :-Your age should be below 28 years. For Lectureship Post :-There is no age criteria. Sir I passed M.Sc zoology with 60.20% Can I apply for cbse NET exam 10July 2016 from environment science.... Plz help ...

Yes. You are eligible to apply for UGC NET as you have completed M.Sc (Zoology).
UGC NET Eligibility - You must have passed Master's course with at least 50% from a recognized university. - Age Limit is 28 years for JRF and No age limit for Lectureship. Exam Pattern Paper I - Total 60 questions will be asked out of which 50 will have to be attempted. - Time Duration : 75 Minutes Paper II - Total 50 questions , All are compulsory - Time Duration : 75 Minutes Paper III - Total 75 questions , All are compulsory. - Time Duration : 150 Minutes NET Important Dates - Online Registration starts From : 12/04/2016 - Last Date of Application : 12/05/2016 - NET Exam : 10/07/2016 |
