Because for Air Force you need to complete 12th with Mathematics and Physics. For Air Force you have to apply for NDA exam that is conducted by UPSC twice in every year. NDA exam is conducted for following wings of Indian Defence- 1. Indian Navy Wing 2. Indian Air Force Wing 3. Indian Army wing The Exam is consists of three Stages: 1. Written Exam 2. Physical Examination 3. Interview Eligibility Criteria: For Naval and Air Force wings you are required to complete 12th with science subjects like Maths and Physics. For Army Wing you need 12th in any stream from recognized college or University. Age Limit: For NDA your age should be within 16.5 years to 19 years. Sex: Only unmarried male candidates can apply. Application Fee: Application fee for exam is Rs. 100. How to apply? you have to apply for the exam online on following link http://upsconline.nic.in/ |

Hello You can not join Indian air force with having arts in 10+2 After class 10+2,the NDA is the way to apply for all three wings of defence that is air force,army,navy.But there are several conditions the age of the candidate must be between 16.5 to 19 years unmarried male candidate only minimum qualification-10+2 with physics and maths for air force,navy and with any stream for army So after 10+2 you can go for army but not for air force and not for navy also. But after you complete your graduation in any stream,you will be applicable for applying in the all three wings and here every stream has opportunities,that even after completing graduation with arts,you can try for army,indian air force,navy. But you must have minimum 60% to apply for the job. To get into the Administrative as well as Logistics Branch of Indian Air Force, you must qualify your final year examination of your bachelors degree program with a minimum of 60% marks. As far as age is concerned, the minimum eligible age is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 23 years. In order to assess the eligibility of the candidates to be part of the Administrative as well as Logistics Branch, the Air Force Selection Board conducts Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) twice a year.
