Since you are still in the 2nd year of your bachelors degree program, you have got to wait one more year to be eligible to join Indian Air Force. After completion of your bachelors degree program, you will be eligible to join the Administrative and Logistics Branch of Indian Air Force. In order to join the Flying Branch of Indian Air Force, along with possessing a bachelors degree in any discipline, Physics and Mathematics in the higher secondary level is mandatory and since you only had Mathematics at that level, you will only be considered eligible for aforementioned branch of Indian Air Force.

To get into the Administrative as well as Logistics Branch of Indian Air Force, you must qualify your final year examination of your bachelors degree program with a minimum of 60% marks. As far as age is concerned, the minimum eligible age is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 23 years. In order to assess the eligibility of the candidates to be part of the Administrative as well as Logistics Branch, the Air Force Selection Board conducts Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) twice a year. The notification of the test is published in the month of June and December every year and to know more, refer to www.careerairforce.nic.in

You can join Indian Air force as an Air man after 10+2 in Non technical trades. The Air man exam is conducted twice in a year by the Indian Air force. A candidate can apply for it after the completion of their 10+2/ The eligibility required for the Air man examination is given below:

Education Qualification
Candidate applying for the Indian Air force as an Air man should be 10+2 pass with science, arts, commerce subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Age Limit
Candidate age should be between 17 -22 Years.

Medical standard
> Minimum acceptable height: 152.5 cm
> Weight should be proportionate to height and age.
> Eyes 6/6 with or without glasses

This Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission

In yearly twice i.e. NDA-I & NDA - II

NDA Have three wings : -

** Indian Air Force

** Indian Army

** Indian Navy

Eligibility Criteria for NDA : -

** You must have a 12th standard

** Your age should between 16.5 years to 19 years, there is no age relaxation for this exam

** You should be a citizen of India

** Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this examination

Selection Procedure : -

** Written Exam

** Medical Test

** Interview.......

Since you are in 2nd year of Bechelor Degree you are not eligible yet for applying Indian Air Force.
IAF is a Indian Air Force Entarnce examination which is conducted by UPSC every year.

Eligibility and Criteria:

A candidate must have completed their graduation Degree in any DEcipline (B.A, B.com, B.E ) with atlest 55% from recognise universities.

Final year students are also applicable.

Age limit should be between 21-30 years. Relaxation are available.

Maximum Try:

General -- 4
OBC -- 7
SC/ST -- NO LIMIT

You can not join Indian air force with having arts in 10+2
After class 10+2,the NDA is the way to apply for all three wings of defence that is air force,army,navy.But there are several conditions
the age of the candidate must be between 16.5 to 19 years
unmarried male candidate only
minimum qualification-10+2 with physics and maths for air force,navy and with any stream for army

So after 10+2 you can go for army but not for air force and not for navy also.
But after you complete your graduation in any stream,you will be applicable for applying in the all three wings and here every stream has opportunities,that even after completing graduation with arts,you can try for army,indian air force,navy.
But you must have minimum 60% to apply for the job.

Sorry, you cant apply for Air Force Exam. Because for Air Force you need to complete 12th with Mathematics and Physics.
For Air Force you have to apply for NDA exam that is conducted by UPSC twice in every year.
