There are no as such rules that after 12 standard you will get admission in 2 year course It is a waste of time if you join diploma course because the admission in diploma course is on the basis of 10 standard ,so if you join diploma course there is no value of your 12 standard instead join a degree course it will be beneficial for you in future |

And I have also passed entrance exam ( jeecup) with 10th level and I got 696 rank in Kanpur. Can I get admission in second year of polytechnic diploma? Please, give me answer as soon . PLEASE. lateral entry in the b.tech study Yes should join in the lateral in the b.tech you will be appear in the 3rd semester directly Best of luck for your future....... |

As you have already done 12th with PCM, you should not take admission in B.Tech. After completion of 12th, admission in diploma will be completely wastage of time and money. So, you can go for it, but you have to start the diploma course from the very beginning, means from the 1st semester.. You can not take admission in diploma course in the 2nd year directly.. If you still want to do diploma course then go for it.. All the best.. |

Re: Admission in 2nd year diploma after completing 12th with PCM? hello sir No,you can't admission in B.tech without clearing your PUC.Moreover if you want to join B.tech then you must have to complete your 12th with Physics,Chemistry,Maths with minimum 50% marks.Then you can apply for National level Engineering Entrance Tests such as IIT-JEE,AIEEE,after these tests you will be assigned colleges on the basis of your rank.The higher rank you will score,the better college you will get.You will get admission in B.tech first year on the basis of these tests. If you don't want to join Engineering on the basis of 12th,you can join 3-year diploma course on the basis of your 10th marks.After completing your Diploma you will directly get admission to B.tech second year on the basis of LEET entrance test. Best of luck for future. |
