hi sir i have completed 12th with pcm group.i have 41% in 12th.can i get admission to the direct second year diploma? I belong to NT-B cast.please give me fast reply.

Dear Friend

There is no provision of lateral entry in diploma (engineering) course for 12th passed
candidates. There is provision of lateral entry in B.Tech. for diploma holders candidates.

As you have already done 12th with PCM, you should not take admission in B.Tech.

After completion of 12th, admission in diploma will be completely wastage of time and
money. You should appear for the state engineering entrance exam for admission to
B.Tech. course.

If you complete B.Tech. with more than 65% marks, you will be eligible to apply for
almost all government services (depending upon your stream of engineering).

No,you can't admission in B.tech without clearing your PUC.Moreover if you want to join B.tech then you must have to complete your 12th with Physics,Chemistry,Maths with minimum 50% marks.Then you can apply for National level Engineering Entrance Tests such as IIT-JEE,AIEEE,after these tests you will be assigned colleges on the basis of your rank.The higher rank you will score,the better college you will get.You will get admission in B.tech first year on the basis of these tests.

If you don't want to join Engineering on the basis of 12th,you can join 3-year diploma course on the basis of your 10th marks.After completing your Diploma you will directly get admission to B.tech second year on the basis of LEET entrance test.

Sorry, sir there is no such provision for lateral entry in the diploma after +2 . You have to appear for the State PAT entrance exam and start your diploma from first year.

i am so sorry my friend but there is no provision to get into the 2nd year of a diploma course..you can either join a diploma course from the beginning else..you can go in for some other course other than diploma..like BCA,BBA,etc..

sorry but there are no provision to take admission in the diploma second you can do the diploma course full time after that you can get admission in the lateral entry in the btech...............

You can go to btech 2nd year while doing the diploma through lateral entry test
As you have already completed the 12 class, you can directly go for btech and i think it is better
The diploma is not so valuable and its a wastage of your time in spending for diploma courses

so go for btech directly

as you have secured lesser marks in 12th , so you want to go for diploma course... It is a good decision...
So, you can go for it, but you have to start the diploma course from the very beginning, means from the 1st semester..
You can not take admission in diploma course in the 2nd year directly..
If you still want to do diploma course then go for it..
