Re: Am I eligible to apply for TGT and PGT exam while doing B.Sc last year?

No, you are not eligible to appear for CTET or TET examination for recruitment as TGT or PGT teacher in government schools.

The required minimum educational qualification to appear for examination is candidate must have bachelor degree from any recognised university along with B.Ed course.

So, after degree you have to pursue one year B.Ed from any recognised university then you become eligible to appear for examination and after qualifying in examination eligible for final recruitment as TGT.

To get more details visit at www.ctet.nic.in. or state TET official website.

The eligibility criteria for TGT examination is that you must have done bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Along with bachelor's degree in any discipline, candidate must have bachelor of education degree.

If you have both of these academic qualification, then you can apply for TGT examination when notification is released.

Re: Am I eligible to apply for TGT and PGT exam while doing B.Sc last year?

No, candidates passed bachelor degree without having bachelor in Education degree are not eligible to appear for entrance examination for recruitment as teacher..

So, after completion of B.Sc you have to pursue B.Ed course and then only you become eligible for recruitment in teaching jobs.

PGT stands for Post Graduate Teacher and so minimum required qualification to appear for examination is master degree and one year B.Ed course.

No, with only bachelor degree you are not eligible to appear for TGT or PGT examination.

The minimum required qualification is candidate must have passed bachelor degree and also have one year B.Ed degree from any recognised university.

For PGT required qualification is master degree from any recognised university. So, you have to wait for appearing in entrance examination.
