Re: Am I eligible to apply for NDA exam at the age of 18 years? Yes,you are eligible for taking NDA exam but you have to keep these things in your mind.. You must be unmarried male. You should be Indian. You have passed 12th with science. Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19.5 years. |

The age criteria for a student to be able to give the NDA exam and join it is that the student mus be between 16.5 - 19 years of age. Though there are other criteria's one must satisfy apart from this. You must be: 1.Unmarried 2.Mentally and physically fit 3.An Indian citizen. |

The academic qualification required for this examination is that candidate must have passed or appearing for board exams of 10+2 from any recognized board. Yes, you are eligible to apply for this examination at an age of 18 years because the age limit for this exam is 16.5-19.5 years. No upper age relaxation is provided to candidates of any category. For final selection in any wing of Defence, you will have to clear written test as well as Service Selection Board. |

Yes, you can appear for examination and after qualifying in examination eligible for final recruitment for the defence service. Those candidates who have passed or pursuing in 10+2 are eligible to appear for examination. The age limit for the examination is 16.5-19.5 years. Candidate must be unmarried and physically fit. You must have done 10+2 from a recognized board. For Navy and Air Force, physics and mathematics in 10+2 is necessary and for Army, you are eligible to apply for any stream in 10+2. 2. The age limit for NDA exam for unmarried male Indian candidate is 16.5-19.5 years. You can apply for NDA examination at age of 18 years. NDA refers too National Defense Academy and to join the same you need to clear its respective entrance examination which is organized twice every year by UPSC and is commonly known as NDA I & NDA II respectively. The minimum eligibility criteria for appearing in the same examination are as following :- --> You must be an unmarried Indian male resident. --> Your age must be in between 16.5 years to 19.5 years. --> You must have completed your Class 12th or must be appearing in the final year of same with any stream of your choice from a recognized board. --> You must have physical fitness as per the service requirement norms as discussed in the notification of same examination. So being 18 years old you are eligible for appearing in the same examination if you satisfy all the other eligibility criteria too. Candidates who have attained the minimum age of 16 1/2 years and those who have not crossed the maximum age of 19 years are eligible to apply for NDA examination. To be eligible to appear in NDA examination, you should have completed 12th standard or equivalent in any stream from a Government recognised board. Other eligibility criteria that you need to fulfill to be eligible to appear in NDA examination are specified below :_ --> You should be an Indian National. --> You should be an Unmarried Male Candidate. --> You should be Physically as well as Mentally healthy. |
