Re: Eligibility for NDA 2 with date of birth 10/1992? Hi friend, Sorry, you cannot apply for NDA at an age of 20 years (provided by your date of birth). The eligibility criteria for NDA is : 1. Nationality : You must be a citizen of India. 2. Gender : You must be a male candidate. 3. Martial Status : You must be an unmarried candidate. 4. Age criteria : The age limit is 16.5 years to 19 years. 5. The age limit to give NDA exam is 16.5 to 19 yrs s on the commencement of the course. So you are not eligible to give NDA exam since your age is more then the limit. I suggest you to do graduation first and then apply for CDSE( Combined Defnce Services Exam) conducted by UPSC. There are other ways to join defence forces too such as, UES(University Entry Scheme), TGC(Technical Graduate course), EKT(Engineering Knowledge Test) and SSC(Short Service Commission). Good Luck |

Re: Eligibility for NDA 2 with date of birth 10/1992? Dear, To give the NDA exam , age limitation should be within 16.5-19 years. Apart from that the various eligibilities are as follows:- 1.) 10+2 pass students with physics , chemistry , maths ( minimum of 55-70%[approx] ) 2.) Only unmarried male candidates are allowed , girls are not allowed. 3.) Minimum height should be 157 cm with 5cm chest expansion. 4.) Eyesight should be 6/6 of both the eyes. So , if you fall in this category , its well and good and you can apply for it. Thanks. |

To be eligible for National Defence Academy examination, the candidate must be a male indian within the age limit of 16 1/2 to 19 years on the date of commecement of course. To be eligible for NDA-2 2011 examination only those candidates can appear who have born not earlier than July 1993 and not later than July 1995. As per your age you are no more eligible for NDA examination. |

The elligiblity creiteria for NDA II is your age must be of group 16.5 to 19 yrs .As you belong to that age group so fill up the form as soon as possible. and this is applicable only for unmarried males only. and for any more further details you can check out the website.. www.upsc.gov.in |

NO you are not eligible for NDA II 2011 examination. the age eligibility criterion for NDA II 2011 examination is only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1993 and not later than 1st January, 1996 are eligible. but you born earlier than 2nd July, 1993 so you are not eligible for NDA II examination. here i am attaching the notification for NDA II 2011 examination. go through the attachment for complete information about the NDA II 2011 examination. now the form fill up for NDA II 2011 examination is going on from 9th April,2011. the last date to apply for the examination is 9th May, 2011. the date of the examination is 21st August, 2011. to apply for the examination visit the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in NDA examination is conducted by UPSC to take admission in Defence academy. visit the official website of UPSC http://www.upsc.gov.in best wishes. |

Since your date of birth is 8-02-1993. so you are not eligible for NDA (II) examination. As it is stated that unmarried male candidates born in between 2nd July, 1993 and 1st January, 1996 are only eligible. Don't loose hope you are having other chance to join Defence force but for that you have to first complete you graduation then apply for CDSE exam. NDA examination is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year. The NDA II exam for the year of 2011 is going to be conducted on 21-08-2011. The eligibility criteria will be as follows Age criteria : -Only unmarried male candidates are eligible -Candidate should be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years. -Candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1993 and not later than 1st January,1996 are eligible. For NDA I exam normally held in the month of Apr and for NDA II exam held in Aug every year. Age Eligibility As per notification of NDA II the following candidates can apply: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd Jul 1993 and not later than 1st January, 1996 are eligible. The important dates related to NDA II are as follows: Date of Notification in Employment News : 09.04.2011 Last date for receipt of application: 09.05.2011.
